Chapter 4
Tea Time
Alex
The boy behind me stood there, staring intently at me, as if he was looking for something. I didn't like this.
"So, Alex" the stranger finally spoke " Your sister has told me a lot about you"
"Yeah?" I replied as he began to pace circles around me, as if studying me "what'd she say?"
"Mentioned something about destroying a planet" he said, eyeing my clothes.
My favorite cargo pants, wool shirt, and jacket, which were now singed and coated in soot. As if he was anyone to judge clothes, the guy was wearing a blue and red tunic, that really seemed like he was wearing a dress.
He stopped. He currently stood between me and the sword hall.
Rushing for a sword wasn't an option, and judging by the age of this wood, if I even tried to use fire, the whole building would be alight in seconds. My only option was to run. But the doors were so big I wouldn't have time to open them before he could catch me.
I'd have to hear this guy out.
"So," he asked "would you care for some tea?"
