Moana and Maui took a deep breath before they decided to have their foot step in the cold zone of the mountain. Their breath immediately turned into a cloud of steam as it exited out of their lungs and their mouth. The things were about to turn real. It was much colder on the island than on the land.

Even though they were both anxious about the curse, they were still excited with the view of the snow. They have never seen fresh snow before. Their leather footwear made crunching sound as they stepped on the snow. Moana snickered as she jumped on the snow and made even more crunching sound. Maui was pretty excited too. In his life which lasted longer than thousand years, he has never seen white, shiny, fresh piles of snow.

"Wait! We shouldn't be doing this! We need to find Hukapehe and seal him!" Moana exclaimed as she stopped messing around the snow.

"Right! Let's go!" Maui said.

They both continued to climb up the mountain as their footwear proceeded to make crunching sound. They started to feel much colder and colder as the time passed. Even though the warm clothes that they borrowed from Takuta didn't block all the coldness.

Moana heard a animal groaning. "Did you hear that?"

"What?" Maui asked.

The animal groaning sound came again. "Grrr..."

"There, it's there again," Moana said.

"I heard it too this time," Maui responded.

"I think it's coming from that direction," Moana said as she pointed west direction.

"Let's go see," Maui said.

Moana and Maui went towards west to see what was going on. There was a white bear stuck under the fallen tree, calling for help. "Oh dear! Poor thing..." Moana said as she ran towards it.

"Careful, kid," Maui said.

"We should help it," Moana said. "Can you pick the tree up?"

"All right," Maui said and he did so.

"Oh, look at the foot! It's all wounded!" Moana said. "Here, let me see." Moana took out the ointment and bandage from her pocket in her dress underneath the warm clothes that she borrowed from Takuta, and applied the ointment and gently wrapped bandage around the wound. "There, that should do it."

The polar bear wanted to thank them for saving it. It opened its arm wide so that Moana and Maui can hug him. They did so with smile on their faces. After hugging, the polar bear walked away.

"Well now that's taken care of, let's keep going," Moana said.

"We should," Maui agreed.

Their feet dug deeper and deeper every time they climbed up the mountain. It was much harder for them to walk faster as their feet were keeping going deep inside the piles of snow. They had to take longer and wider steps so that they can try getting to Hukapehe faster than they should.

"Ooh, it's so difficult," Moana said as she had to keep take out her feet and dip it deep again in the lake of snow.

"It should be easy for you kid," Maui said as his feet dug in much deeper than Moana's. "Hoo-wee! I have to keep raising my knees above my waist level."

"Maybe it's time for you to lose some weight, it seems," Moana said.

"Hey, this body is not made of fat, it's made of rock-hard muscles!" Maui bragged as he started to show off his muscles. "You know muscles are heavier than fat. Look at this. My arms, my legs, my thighs-"
