Emily's POV.

I woke up in the morning and got out of bed went straight to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and turned on the shower, after I got out of the shower I got dresses into a white tank top with a loose light tan sweater with some ripped jeans, I blow dried my hair and put it in a braid, I applied a little mascara, and put on ChapStick , after I was done I made my bed and sat on it, turned on the t.v. and started thinking

"ummm what should i do today, maybe i should ask anna and ashley to hang out since i havent seen them in 2 years!"

I started texting my friends Ashley, and Anna from my old school I didn't want to texts my friends from my new school, see I moved 2 years ago and left all my friends including my best friends Ashley and Anna, we texted everyday and yesterday I found out that they live just 20 minutes away so I'm glad I didn't move far away and I should have found out earlier so we could of hung out instead of thinking we moved far away because my parents kept getting lost on the way when we were moving so it felt like 5 hours that's why I thought I moved far from them and they said they weren't telling me where we were moving, I had to find out which was alabama, and this was are conversation

To: Anna

hey Anna since its summer do you and Ash want to hang out?

i waited 30 mintues and decided to texts Ashley

To: Ash

ash I miss you and Anna! I just asked Anna since its summer do you and her want to hang out?

after I texted Ashley went downstairs to see if my parents made breakfast, when I got downstairs I went straight to the kitchen and found a note that said:

Emily and Jordan (my sister that's 10),

Yours and Jordan's breakfast, its in the microwave so it
didn't get cold we will be staying out late
so if you want to hang out with your
friends there parents have to pick you up

I thought to myself ugh why do they always have to be out late, I went to the microwave and took my breakfast out, but I was confused Jordan's wasn't in there, but i thought eh she probably already ate it, then I sat down on our couch turned on the t.v., started eating my breakfast, after I was done eating it I screamed "JORDAN!" no answer I screamed Jordan again and again no answer I was confused why she wasn't answering so i decided to turned off the t.v. and go upstairs , when i got to her door i saw a note and said to myself what is up with my family and notes these days, the note said:

hey sis,
I went to Jenny's house, her Mom picked
me up and mom said it was fine for me to
go to her house last night, see you later
your sis,

I went to my room and checked my phone Anna and Ashley texted back and here's what they said:

From: Anna

Sorry em I already have plans, I feel so bad, I'm going to the movies with brooke

If you're wondering Brooke is her friend (she won't be in this story) ,I was disappointed that I couldn't hang out with her so then I checked Ashley's maybe she could

From: Ash

I wish I have to go on vacation, unless you come and save me, I miss you so much I'll hang out with you next week when I get back love you em bye

ugh so I decided to texts my best guy friend from my new/old school Matthew

To: Matthew

hey can you come over and hang out, Jordan's at her friends house and I'm alone because my parents are staying out late again.

I laid down on my bed and kept watching t.v. I left on then I felt my phone vibrate it was Matthew he said

From: Matthew

yeah just let me get ready what time should I come over?

I texted back

To: Matthew

I'm alone right now so now or when your done getting ready.

I laid my phone down and went back to watching t.v., i hope he gets here fast because im so paranoid when im alone

20 minutes later...

a knock was on the door, I ran downstairs to find Matthew standing there out of breath I guess he was running since he lived a block over, I hugged him and told him to come in and I asked him if he wanted a water he said yeah since he was out of breath

I said "catch!" and threw him the water, which he caught

I said "come on let's hang out in my room" we always hang out in my room

he said "okay" then we raced upstairs and went into my bedroom and sat on the floor

I turned off my t.v. and said "we should decide what were going to do today" he said

"how about a day at the ice cream shop?" I said

"I guess since Its close and we can walk there, do you have money?" he said "oh I forgot my money at home!!!" he added

I said" its fine I have 10 dollars and the ice cream only costs 3 dollars each"

he said "thanks"

I said " what's friends for" and got off the floor and went over to where I hide my money since my sister always trys to find it, i took out a 10 dollar bill and said "let's go" and I put on my white converse...
