Hello hello!

I know my updates for Spark have been pretty sparse for the last few months, but I'm slowly getting back to it! The chapters are usually 6k+ words and full of super intense basketball action, so it just boils down to how much time I have and how motivated I am to start it because of the limited time. Also, shameless plug, I started a new BNHA fic (To Be a Hero) and it's just been so much easier to write for that at the moment. Check it out if you want (pls support), and don't worry, Spark is my ~baby~ so I will not abandon it!

"Seirin's only five points behind Yosen now!"

If it was possible, Seirin's sidelines cheered even louder at the score that blinked on the scoreboard. Murasakibara was getting fed up with the hopeful chants and encouragements made to boost team morale and keep spirits high. He picked up a familiar set of voices from the chants and he snapped his attention towards Kuroko and a particular caramel haired girl.

What happened during intermission still left a bad taste in his mouth and he still blamed the other irritating center for causing it. Tomo-chin... He knows Tomoko sensed him staring her way, but she only continued to cheer for the second-year he hated so much. This is so annoying...

"I wish you'd at least try to have fun."

"Don't you enjoy basketball?"

He was so sick of it.

Hard work, determination, faith... None of that mattered to Murasakibara. He found it so appalling that Seirin thinks what they're doing—what Kiyoshi Teppei is doing—is going to make a difference. "I can't take it anymore. It's so displeasing I can puke. Watching you squirm..." he muttered lowly as the aura around him turned still with ire.

Every player grew cautious as he stepped away from the basket for the first time during the entire game.

"It's cruel to say that just because he couldn't defeat you in middle school. Kiyoshi-senpai has grown stronger and his heart is still the same."

The words rang in his head and another scowl escaped his lips. Cruel? I'll show you... Just how cruel a sport basketball is.

When he drew near Hyuuga and the others, they collectively gulped. He's coming! They thought. Just how are we supposed to stop that?!

I'll crush them. All of them.

"M-Murasakibara's on offense? I thought his specialty was defense..." Furihata stuttered nervously.

"Murasakibara-kun is one of the more combative members of the Generation of Miracles," Kuroko explained as he also grew concerned after sensing the giant's wrath festering from within. "While he has little interest in basketball and is lazy, he's actually better at offense. In games like this that incur his wrath, he's scored a record hundred points in a single game."

"A h-hundred?!" Kawahara and Tsuchida exclaimed, watching the miracle with a look of disbelief.

"I'll show you such unfair play, it'll make your pretty words meaningless!" Murasakibara growled as Hyuuga, Mitobi, and Teppei ran forth to stop him with a 3-on-1. But even the strength of The Hulk himself wouldn't be able to stop this sheer power. He continued to brush off the three blocking him like they were lint on his shoulder.

I didn't expect Murasakibara to move on his own, but it's a fortunate miscalculation on our part, Araki thought from the Yosen sideline. The corners of her mouth lifted in satisfaction. Thanks for waking the monster, Seirin.
