Hi Wattpad readers! I'm super sorry for being away for so long and I'm totally cool with you guys being disapppointed in me :( I've just hit the worst case of procrastination and writer's block for Spark, and inspiration keeps flowing towards the bnha story I started earlier this year. I promise I'm getting back to this, though! BTW, all the comments I keep getting for this fic makes me incredibly happy and I love reading the threads ^_^
Anyway, the semifinal matches are near! I hope you guys will enjoy this chapter in the meantime :)

"Y-You're moving?"
Hayama rubbed the back of his head guiltily when he saw how upset the girl looked. He was upset, too; when his parents told him a week ago that they had to move to Kyoto for his dad's company, he threw a fit. Only now, just two days before he was due to move, did he get enough courage to tell his best friend.
And he regretted it immediately.
From all the times that they were together, he knew that Tomoko rarely got upset because she viewed everything so positively. So when he saw that expression marring her beautiful face, he felt like he was kicked in the gut with a steel boot and fully deserved it. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier... I was trying to convince my parents to stay, honest!" he tried desperately. " I-I don't want to move away from you..."
Tomoko wrung her hands together with a deeply saddened frown. "Is it far from here...?" She knew Hayama talked about America often and she hoped at least that the place the boy was moving to wasn't across the ocean.
"Kyoto," he pouted as it left his lips. Ever since he found out, the word became extremely offensive to him.
Remembering her geography from history class, she noted that Kyoto was very far west from where they lived now. "I'll be really sad, b-but at least it's not A-America..." she said with tears in her eyes.
Hayama panicked when he saw that she was crying, so he grabbed her hand. "I'm not going anywhere!"
"E-Eh?" she sniffed. "Really?"
"I..." He knew couldn't possibly promise that, but still. "Don't cry, okay?" he pleaded. "I-I'll come back soon, I swear! I'd do anything to make you happy. I promised, remember?"
Tomoko's lips trembled slightly. Hayama Kotarou was always this sweet to her. She really didn't want to lose someone so important to her, either. So she nodded, "You're the only one who can always makes me happy," her lifted back into a happy grin. "So I believe you, Ko-tan!"
Pain from her cheeks (as a result of being pinched) rose Tomoko from her slumber. She blinked a few times to focus her groggy eyesight to the figure in front of her face. Hayama's brilliant forest green eyes stared back at her as his lips lifted up in his usual shit-eating grin.
"Wakey wakey, Hime. Didn't know you were dreaming of me," he chuckled at Tomoko's now confused expression.
"...Huh...?"
"You were like 'Ko-tan~'" Hayama reenacted how she was sleeping by closing his eyes and clasping his two hands together near his face. "'I love you, Ko-tan~'"
Tomoko threw a pillow at the blonde with a laugh. "I did not say that," she dismissed and sat up, causing the husky plushie she was hugging in her sleep to roll off her bed. Bending over to pick it up and setting it down carefully on her bed again, she rubbed her eyes. "I was just dreaming about that day you told me you were leaving me and Ichi-nii forever," she said with a slight hint of drama before looking at her phone for the time. She didn't notice her childhood friend's face turning bleak for a moment at the memory because he was once again grinning when she looked back up.
