Someone like you

Beginnings

You started to stretch as you were feeling yourself wake up. You yawned and opened your eyes. You turned over on your side and saw that you were in bed alone.

Jonah's bed.

Naked.

You sit up, looking around. Memories from last night started pouring into your head. You took in a deep breath and exhaled with a sigh. Just then, you heard a knock on the door.

"Who is it?" You called.

"Jonah"

He opened the door and walked in wearing a bathrobe and holding a tray with what looked like some breakfast.

"The guys made pancakes so I decided to bring some up for you." You smiled and took Jonahs chiseled face in your hand.

"Thank you." You said softly. You both then leaned over and kissed.

"Sooo," said Jonah. "How well did you sleep?" He had his goofy smirk on.

"Okay" you said rubbing your face. "But, um, I think I should get dressed. I didn't think I was going to be spending the night so I should probably get home...my mom must be worried sick."

As much of this was true, you really didn't want to leave. You wanted to stay there in his bed with him forever. But, you knew that all good things had to come to a close.

You got up, kissed Jonah again, took  a long shower and got dressed. Corbyn let you borrow a pair of leggings and a graphic tee that his girlfriend, Christina, left over. You then joined Jonah back in his room and you guys shared breakfast together.

"Last night was....perfect" you said. Jonah nodded and moved himself closer to you. You could feel his warmth.

"I think we still have a couple chocolate strawberries left in the fridge. Want to go down and get some with me?" Jonah took your hand and he brought you downstairs. You guys opened  the box of strawberries and started eating some.

"Hey, leave some for us!" Said Jack. He raced over before you and Jonah could finish the last two.

"Hey" said Jonah as Jack took his from his hand. Jack then ran away and you could hear all the boys in the other room exclaiming their disappointment that there werent any more left.

"Well I should get going" you say as you touch Jonah's shoulder. He smiled at you with chocolate on his face. You reached for his lips and rubbed it off gently. Jonah then stood up straight from leaning on the counter and bent down a little to kiss you.

"Give me a ride home?" You ask as you both pull out of the kiss.

You said goodbye to the boys and they each gave you a hug. To be honest, you were kind of disappointed that you didn't ge to hear them sing. Well, there's always next time, right?

You and Jonah got into the car and drove off. You looked at the time and it was almost 8 o'clock a.m.. You decide to call your mom to tell her you were okay.

"Mom?" You say as she picked up the phone.

"Y/n! Oh my goodness! Where the hell have you been? I get it you were studying but I was up all night wondering where you were! I called you and texted you...I swear to god you nearly gave me a heart attack."

"Slow down mom...I'm sorry. I'm sorry I didn't come home last night. I had my phone on silent so I could focus on...studying."

"Well, you said you just met this girl that you were studying with through Jonah. She just let you stay at her house?"

"Well, no, not exactly. When the study session was over, I didn't have a ride. I asked Jonah to pick me up and bring me home but his...roommates...had the car for the  night. Jonah lived just down the street so I walked to his house and crashed on his couch. No big deal." Jonah turned to look at you and raised an eyebrow. You shrugged your shoulders.

"I just wanted to let you know that Jonah is driving me home right now, we are like, two minutes away."

"Okay then" your mom said sounding calm. "But we are going to discuss this more when you get home."

You hung up the phone and looked out the window. Jonah put his hand on your thigh and you both sat in silence the rest of the way.

Jonah pulled into your driveway and Put his car into park.

"So," he said. "I guess this is where we part ways."

"yeah" you said back with a disappointed look on your face. "I guess it is."

You both leaned in and kissed each other. It was warm and deep. Jonah put his hand on your face, keeping you close.

"Jonah, I have to go" you said while Jonah's lips were still on yours.

He then pulled back for a second and smiled. "I'll see you later then?"

You stepped out of his car and leaned over the open window.

"See you later" you said with a wink.
