On one side of town a young couple embraced erasing their sorrow. With bittersweet tears their happy ending had come.

Traveling across the city, to the other side of town, in a dark apartment that had begun to obtain the stench of death, a dark figure moved towards a bright haired boy laying on the ground. His hair no longer gleamed though, and his tan skin had taken a shade of gray.

The figure got closer disgusted by the way the boy had began to rot, as no one else had come looking for him or even noticed his disappearance.

The figure leaned down to close to the once handsome face and breathed over the boy expelling it's breath to wash over his face. The boy's nose twitched breathing in the air from the figure. His breaths were still irregular one every couple of minutes, but slowly his chest went up and down in a stable pattern.

His skin took on the glow of a summer's tan, and hair shone from it's natural yellow. His large hands began to twitch, and finally eyes snapped open as blue as the sea.

"You failed." The figure said slapping the boy across the face. The boy bent over coughing up blood. He looked up his white smile now tainted with red.

"You were supposed to kill the girl in the first place." It kicked the boy in the ribs where several were already broken.

The boy wheezed his newfound breath already gone again.

"I didn't plan on falling in love with her."

His response earned him another kick.

"And look what happened. You don't have the girl. She's back with him and ruining our whole plan. All the effort for nothing."

"I thought she'd.."

"She'd what? Stay with you pretty boy? That's not how this world works. You don't get the girl. The good guys get the girls. Maybe you've learned your lesson this time. Because now, now you have no room for mistakes." The figure retreated back out of the apartment as the boy who looked like an angel screamed out into the night.

It was just his beginning.
