Dear Rey,

     I don't know how to say this so bear with me. Yes yes I know you're probably upset or disappointed about the whole "join me thing" but here's the subtext of my entire speech:

Rey, join me and together we'll rule the galaxy; it doesn't have to go the way you think it is

When we touched hands I saw the truth about you, that you're nothing. That you have no place in the story

just like me.

But to me you're not nothing, for you are something to me—

no, you're my everything.

I'm not asking for you to think of me in the same way,

so please

I'm just asking to be something to you too.
