I'm walking home from the university. I've been walking around for a while so it's dark now, I stop to sit by this oak tree I used to play on as a kid. I get a flashback of me and parents laughing and playing together. My father lets me onto his shoulders then he walks over to the tree and I climb into the tree laughing and saying "Mommy! Mommy! look at me!" my parents laugh then the flashback is over. I feel the tears running down my cheeks, then I get up and I continue walking home. While I'm walking home I run into my friend Miranda, "Oh hey I've been looking for you all day... are you ok?" "I guess what did you need?" I say looking away. "Um here let's go somewhere else," She says grabbing my arm gently and she pulls me into an alleyway, she whispers in my ear "I've been meaning to tell you that I'm a Ghoul as well". My eyes widen slightly I whisper "W-what how did you know I was a Ghoul!?" "I could smell your scent" I stand there silently. "Well I guess I'll see ya later," She says then she bounds off, I'm left there alone again. I start walking home, I get home it's midnight I walk in the front door quietly. I see my girlfriend sleeping on couch, I walk to my room and I flop on the bed and I pass out.
