"Alright, let's do this," Y/n sighed as they gripped the GameCube controller. Steven sat next to Y/n as the two sat near his bed, staring intently at his TV, "Level nine,"
"Ready?" Steven asked as he hovered over the start button
"Yep," Y/n nodded as Steven pressed the button, "Find the bad guy, push 'em aside,"
"And move on forward with your friend by your side!" Steven laughed as he started pushing buttons
"Yo, you two still playing that Apocalypse of the Damned game?" Amethyst asked as she stepped up the stairs
"Mhm," Y/n nodded, "We finally got to level nine,"
"The cafetorium?" Amethyst asked as she jumped onto Steven's bed stomach down and watched the TV
"Yeah," Steven said, "Geez this is hard!"
"Gotta stay on track!" Y/n told
"Ah!" Steven yelped as a flash of red blood showed on his screen
"Use your force!" Amethyst told as she pointed at the screen
"Zombie!" Y/n and Steven called out as they continued pressing buttons
"Y/n?" A soft voice called from bellow
"Watch out!" Amethyst yelled
"Ah!" Steven jumped as the zombie flew across the screen and attacked his character
"Y/n!" The voice called again
"Wah!" Y/n leaned far back as the same scene played out for them
"Y/N!" The voice yelled
"Pause," Steven sighed as he pressed the start button
"Someone say Y/n?" Y/n asked as they rolled over to the ledge and leaned their head down into the living area
"I did," Garnet told, "I need you for the afternoon,"
"For what?" Y/n asked
"Yeah, for what?" Amethyst asked as she jumped off the bed and laid on Y/n's back vertically, her hair getting in Y/n's face
"Oohf," Y/n groaned at the sudden weight as they parted Amethyst's hair
"A mission," Garnet told
"A mission?!" Steven cheered as he jumped onto Amethyst and looked down to Garnet
"You're crushing me," Y/n creaked out
"Sorry, Steven. This isn't one you can come on," Garnet told, "It may be too dangerous,"
"Aw man," Steven pouted, resting his chin on Amethyst's head
"What's this mission?" Amethyst asked
"There's been some kind of disturbance in near the Sky Sanctuary," Garnet informed, "I need Y/n to come with me to investigate,"
"Just Y/n? What about me? Or Pearl?" Amethyst asked
"No, just Y/n and I," Garnet said
"Why?" Steven frowned, "If it's too dangerous for me shouldn't you take Pearl and Amethyst too if you're going to bring Y/n?"
"The less company the better, I need Y/n not because of their fighting abilities, but their other abilities," Garnet said
"Aah, I get it," Amethyst nodded
"Get off," Y/n pleaded as they wheezed
"Y/n and I need to leave as soon as possible," Garnet told
