"Anchor the rear hand, Diggle." I chide as I dodge the swing of the pipe.
"Yeah, yeah. Have you talked to Laurel, yet?" John says as we start our training exercise back up with the pipes.
"Oh, trying to distract me? Low blow." I chuckle as I swing the pipe towards his face, landing a clean blow across.
"Wasn't a distraction." John groans as he rubs where I hit him across the face.
"Oops" I shrug as I take a swig from my water.
"I'm gonna guess radio silence?" John questions.
"Ding, ding. Hasn't responded to any of my calls or texts, I've tried John, but she wants to be left alone." I sigh.
"Or, she wants to talk face to face. Don't stop trying." John says encouragingly.
"Scott Morgan, he runs water and power in the Glades. Jacks up the prices when people can't pay, shuts them down. Even in the winter. All around ass, who needs to have a chat with The Hood." I say as a pull his file.
"Which is at least a month away, whereas I have someone for the now. Look at this. These guys started in Keystone 3 years ago, then began hitting west, hitting banks along the way. This morning they hit Starling City Trust, even shot an off-duty cop. He's currently in a coma, doctors say it's a coin toss whether or not he'll make it." John explains as he pulls up the heist.
"He's a fellow cop, cops will be all over it." I say as pull my shirt over my sports bra.
"Overwhelmed, underfunded. Listen, these guys don't hit one time. They hit two or three banks per city, which means right now their planning their next job." John argues strongly.
"Seems you're mixed up about what it is I do." I say.
"You take out bad guys with a bow and arrow." John says smartly.
"I don't handle street crimes, that is what the police do. It's a mere symptom, whereas I'm trying to cure the disease." I sigh as put on my sweatshirt.
"Okay, I get CEOs and crooked entrepreneurs, but there's more to the city than that. You could make more of a difference if you think beyond the scope of those pages. You're father would understand." John says as he sits down.
"You don't know what my father would want, okay? My father blew his brains out, so I could handle the people in those pages. And these, are the same people who are untouchable to the police. So I'll say it again, they will handle it." I snap.
"There's more than one way to save this city, Thea." John argues as he stands back up and approaches me.
"Not here and not for me. I'm trying to honor my father's sacrifice. There's crime in this city everyday, what do you me to do. Stop it all?" I scoff.
"I bet your father would be really proud to hear that from you." John scoffs, before storming out.

"You honestly think Mom is fine? She almost lounged in her pajamas yesterday. Our mother." Oliver shrieks.
"When did you start paying attention to her feelings?" I question as we start walking downstairs.
"Yeah, yeah. You'll see it. Our step father just took a business trip, across the world." Oliver says.
"And how many times did Dad take business trips? Oliver, he's a business man. Unlike you, people actually have to work." I say.
"Hey, I work." Oliver gasp.
"Yeah, my nerves." I chuckle.
Oliver jokingly pushes me off the last stair and ruffles my hair. Mom suddenly comes from the den and places a vase of flowers on the table.
