Chapter 7

Deidara stared at himself in the mirror. His golden blonde hair was messed up from the strong winds that were blowing outside, he had been running errands with Chie and Sumato all day, so he didn't get a chance to fix it.

If there was anything Deidara hated more than Kiba, it was his hair being messed up and tangled.

Sighing he took it out of its half ponytail and began to brush it, not a lot but enough to get majority of the tangles out. Not really caring, he left it down. It was only Kakuzu after all, he'd greet the others and then all of his attention would go straight to Hidan. Hidan and his mouth that is. (A/N:best line I've ever written in my whole 15 years of living)

Shaking his head Deidara chuckled, the two boys weren't exactly secret about their relationship, nor did they care if people saw them. He secretly admired the courage the two had about being gay for one another since day one. They had a funny relationship really. Both boys had even confessed that they only started dating for the hell of it, neither of them had feelings for one another at first. But as time went on the two slowly began to actually truly care and love one another, it was kinda cute really.

After setting his brush down, Deidara grabbed his black hoodie with the red cloud in the middle of it. He only took it off due to giving into the voices in his head once again. Putting the sweatshirt on he grabbed his phone and headed downstairs to see Chie and Sumato talking in the living room "hey, Pein is picking me up and I'll be with the guys all night tonight." Before Chie could protest, Deidara opened the front door and walked out, closing it behind him.

He saw Pein's car and climbed into the front seat. Pein glanced at him "your hair is down for once?" Deidara shrugged "I don't always have it up like that. I take it down sometimes, I even braid it when I'm bored." (A/N:OFFICAL ART OF DEIDARA WITH HIS HAIR BRAIDED PLZ *prays to universe*) The orange haired male stifled a laugh "you really are a girl." This comment caused Deidara to go into a laughing fit "I'm the most manliest girl there is then." Shaking his head Pein chuckled "no, Konan is the most manliest girl there is." Deidara laughed even more "hey! You said it not me, that's your own girlfriend dude!" Pein laughed, which was rare, "yeah well, she knows I love her"

The two continued whatever conversation they were having until Pein pulled into the driveway to Hidan's house "the stupid idiot totaled his car" Deidara snorted "why am I not surprised?"

Hidan had opened the door at the exact moment "fuck off blondie, it was that stupid ass trucks fault" Deidara laughed "yeah, I wonder what Kakuzu will have to say about that"

Hidan scoffed "Kakuzu won't care!" The blonde could barley catch his breath he was laughing so hard "that's because you two will be shoving your tongues down each other's throats!"

Rolling his eyes Hidan laughed "at least we aren't scared to admit it!" (A/N:this is really random but Disappoint: Surprise by Divided By Friday really makes me think of this fanfic) Pein cracked a chuckle "yeah well, keep it to making out until you guys are by yourselves."

A blush spread across Hidan's face and he didn't say anything. Deidara laughed and looked behind him "is someone embarrassed?" He teased. The Jashinist only flipped him off not giving a verbal response, it was no secret to anyone on what the two did in their free time once in a while. Pein only laughed "you and that Tobi kid seem close Deidara...care to explain what's all that about?" The orange haired male smirked at the rising blush on Deidara's face, it was about as red as Sasori's hair. Hidan laughed "aww, does our little bombshell blonde have a crush? That's cute."

Deidara crossed his arms and shook his head "no way! The guy is too happy go lucky" and his entire thought after he spoke was 'and there's no way in hell he'd want to put up with my depressing ass...' Hidan saw the pain that quickly flashed through the blondes sky blue eyes and frowned slightly, yeah he had a boyfriend. And yeah, he loved Kakuzu more than Jashin. But, there was a time in his life to where he found Deidara to be attractive and was drawn to him, that time was the whole year of ninth grade. He eventually got over those feelings during the summer. At the end of August. But, former gay feelings aside, Deidara was still his best friend, whom he cared about. Hell, the artist was like a brother to him.

After about an hour and a half, they eventually reached their destination. To their surprise, Kakuzu was already standing outside waiting for them, leaning against the building with his arms crossed. Hidan practically flew out of the car once it stopped. Deidara and Pein stepped out of the old slightly broken down vehicle and shook their heads, sighing.

Hidan and Kakuzu already had their arms wrapped around one another, the shorter male burying his face in his boyfriends chest as said boyfriend was gently running his fingers through Hidan's silver hair. Deidara smiled softly "y'know.....Hidan may be an idiot and Kakuzu may never be able to keep a clean criminal record but....they're meant for each other." Pein hummed in agreement.

Soon, Itachi's, Konan's, and Madara's car pulled up. Kisame stepped out of Itachi's car with the said Uchiha following. Sasori and Madara stepped out of the eldest boy's car. While Konan stepped out of hers, only to be followed by a happy go lucky boy wearing an orange mask.

Deidara smiled upon seeing the boy "Tobi! Hey!" Tobi walked, almost ran, over to Deidara and hugged him tightly without hesitation "Deidara! I thought I was only going to see you at school, what a pleasant surprise!" The blonde blushed when Tobi didn't let go "Tobi...you can let go now..." He mumbled quietly. Tobi laughed but let the shorter boy go, only to point out how red Deidara's face was.

The blonde clenched his fist "I have no damn idea what you're talking about!" He crossed his arms and turned away, causing the others to laugh. Kakuzu only had an eyebrow raised "so, did blondie get himself a relationship while I was locked up? Always figured you were gay." Deidara glared at the black haired male "he's only a friend! And secondly...you're not one to talk you greedy money loving criminal!"

Tobi bursted into laughter at this, he wanted to get closer to the blonde artist, he really did. You could even say he was developing feelings for him despite only knowing each other for a couple days. There was just something about Deidara that drew him in. The way his soft looking golden blonde hair fell perfectly around his shoulders and shone in the now setting sun. His clear sky blue eyes that would light up at the mention of something art related. His laughter was music to Tobi's ears. Not to mention, the guy was extremely cute.

A/N:hi guys! Sorry for the wait on this chapter, I had exams going on and after about 500 anxiety attacks about them they're finally over. I'm sorry for barley any TobiDei in this chapter. I just wanted to appreciate my third favorite ship in the Naruto franchise which if you can't tell, is KakuHida 😊. I'll try to update sooner now that exams are over and done with!
