Gryffindor (Chanyeol x reader)

Start of school...

The Christmas holidays are over, meaning that absent students are coming back. You, of course, were waiting for Chanyeol. Although you were writing to each other the whole break, you wanted to see his face. During holidays you got to know so much about him, and every word written by him in his letters made you fall even deeper, and now you knew there was no escape anymore.

But finally, the time has come. You were waiting in The great hall, getting nervous, so you decided to distract yourself by finally doing your holiday homework. You found it hard to focus, but you somehow managed.

Soon, you heard countless voices, but Chanyeol's deep voice stood out. You looked up from your books and you saw him, which made you feel even happier than you had already been. He looked at you too and smiled, than waved. He said something to Luhan, then the trio walksed up to you. You put the pen down, saying:"Hi, welcome back. I hope you enjoyed your holidays."

He  cracked another smile and said:"Why are you talking like you just met me for the first time?"

"Well," you started:"What else am I supposed to do?"

He opened his arms:"Give me a hug or something, we're friends!" You felt awkward around Luhan and Baekhyun, but your wish to hug him was stronger, and you ended up hugging him.

While you were hugging, Chanyeol whispered into your ear:"Tonight at 11pm, astronomy tower." You nodded slightly, so the other two wouldn't see it, then let go, flashing a wide smile. Then you let the trio back into their dorm so Chanyeol could unpack.

You couldn't describe the feeling of seeing Chanyeol's face, his smile and feeling his warm hugs. You could tell how much you missed him.

~Time skip~

This time, when you arrived to the tower, Chanyeol was already there. He spotted you and smiled. You asked:"You wanted to talk?" You couldn't tell wether he nodded or shook his head, which made you crack up. You asked again:"Yes or no?" 

He replied:"Well yes...and no. I mean not really, but yeah."

"What.." you were confused:"You know that doesn't make any sense, right?" He nodded, saying:"I know, but...well I don't really wanna talk, but I like spending time with you...and you know, just being quiet is weird and awkward."

"I see..." you said

What's that supposed to mean?

Youadded:"But what are we gonna talk about?" That was followed by silence, Chanyeol just shrugged lightly. You noticed he wasn't dressed enough, so you scolded him:"Why didn't you dress up more, aren't you cold??" He smiled, asking:"Are you worried about me'?

You answered:"Well...duh, we're friends."

"Do you care enough to give me a hug?"

He really became a fan of hugs, huh? You didn't mind much, you just stepped closer and wrapped your arms around him, and he hugged you back right away. He spoke:"You didn't write much about your holidays, what did you do?"

You answered:"Nothing really, the most interesting activity was reading and writing your letters." He chuckled, then let go of the hug, but still held your hand, as if he was trying to keep you as close as possible, or at least that was the vibe you were getting...maybe you were just blinded by being in love. He sat down on the ground, then gently pulled your hand. You sat down on his lap and leaned onto him. He hugged you once again and you hugged him back. 

This way, both of you were warm.

You chatted for about an hour, then decided to go to bed, since you had school the next day.
