Gryffindor (Chanyeol x reader)

Finally.

The next day was really weird. You found it unusal how you hadn't seen Chanyeol for hours, and it was around noon. He hasn't come to talk to you, and you haven't laid your eyes on him either. You got worried something might happen to him, but you shook it off with a thought he's probably a really tight sleeper and he overslept. Still, he shouldn't be missing the first day of school after holidays.

You were in your bedroom, sitting on your bed. You sighed in boredom. You slowly got up and left the room. You had no idea where you wanted to go, maybe find any of your friends. You realised you kinda ditched them for Chanyeol.

Passing Gryffindor's dorm, you met Luhan and Baekhyun, they just came outside. When they saw you, both of them smiled. You asked:"Have you seen Chanyeol?"

"Ah yes," Luhan spoke:"He's lying down. He said he doesn't wanna come outside, he's been so moody today. Why?"

You were a bit shocked. Why wouldn't he want to come outside? You were also lowkey upset, because he didn't say anything about being sad to you yesterday. You answered:"Ah, I wanna talk to him." Baekhyun sighed lightly and went to get Chanyeol, while you and Luhan were waiting outside in anawkward silence.

Soon enough, Baekhyun came back with Chanyeol. You could see Chanyeol feels sad. He glanced at Luhan and Baekhyun, who left when he did so. Chanyeol kept quiet even after they left, so you figured out that you should start the conversation. You asked:"Do you not feel well?" He sighed and answered:"How would I?" His voice wasn't giving you the same vibe, it wasn't excited, it was painful, and it sounded like he was about to cry. You asked again:"Why? What's wrong?"

"I..."he started:"I can't feel well after finding something out yesterday. I just...can't. I don't feel like going out. It's just...it got my self-esteem way down, you wouldn't understand." He wasn't looking at you. He was looking down, next to your legs. 

You spoke:"You can tell me anything Chanyeol, I'll try to help." That moment he looked up, and surprisingly, he looked straight into your eyes. He said:"I can tell you anything? When you don't tell me anything? It's unfair. Luhan told me yesterday and I was really surprised, you should have told me..."

You were confused. You were wondering what you told Luhan that you didn't tell Chanyeol. You must have looked confused too, he explained:"You never told me you have a boyfriend."

That shocked you. You shouted:"WHAT?! Are you okay, how come even I don't know about it??" He let out a long sigh, the said again:"The first day of your holidays you got a letter from him, right? Luhan said you didn't want to show it, and that you went to read it in your room."

You then remembered. That time, when you got Chanyeol's first letter, you freaked out and said it was from your boyfriend. You smiled a bit and said in a calming tone:"Chanyeol no, I don't have a boyfriend. That letter wasn't from him. It was yours..." He asked surprised:"Mine?? Then why did you say it was from your boyfriend?" You didn't know if you should just tell him now...you really wanted to tell him the truth, and the fact that he was upset by the fact that you had a "boyfriend" made you feel like he likes you too. 

"Well," you started:"When I got the letter, I freaked out and said the first thing that came to my mind when thinking about you. It was boyfriend." your heart started racing as you said that, your knees got weak and you felt like you were gonna faint. You hoped that he'd realise what you were telling him. Your whole body was shivering in fear of rejection. You had a feeling he liked you, but still, there was a feeling you might have made a wrong move.

He said:"...What? Did you just....did you just confess to me?" He sounded confused, so you just nodded, feeling shy and embarrased, with a bot of nervousness. He chuckled right away and spoke:"(Y/N) I can't believe this! You like me??"

"Lower down your volume-" you said, but it was clearly like saying yes. You looked up at him and saw his wide smile. You could stare at it forever and you wouldn't get bored of it. He looked down at you and said:"I like you too!" his voice was once again the same. He sounded excited and happy. That made you smile too, followed by anther tight hug, but it felt different. It was genuine, honest, lovely. You hugged him back happily.

You had to admit you felt much, much better now. You felt perfect.
