CHAPTER 10

"Arthion is...is your father?" I stuttered. Tuarwen nodded silently. "He cast out his own daughter?" Again she nodded. I sat on the opposite bed and took a deep breath. If we help her and take her with us then it could put my original plans in danger but having an Elf on my side might not be to bad. I debated about this for a few minutes before deciding. "Alright, we are heading to a safe house in Pennsylvania-"

"No, you can't go there." Tuarwen quickly interrupted.

"Why not?"

"They took the Gifted but murdered the Gaurdians. No, you can not go there. They have it watched and guarded. I'm agraid your kin are dead or dying." I fell back into the bed behind me processing what she had just said.

"How many?"

"About a dozen siblings at least." I soaked this in slowly. There was more of us out there... There had to be. Just then a knock sounded at the door. I stared at the door in astonishment. Was there like a mark on my door telling the whole world where I was?

I tenitivly walked to the door. I peered through the peep hole to see to males. One slightly younger from the other. The older one was being supported by the young one. They both had short brown hair but the older looking one had grey eyes while the younger of the two had green eyes. In both pairs of eyes I saw worry and hope. I noticed a familer knife strapped to the waist of the grey eyed man. I flung open the door.

"Oh thank goodness your here!" Green eyes said with much relief. "Molly, is your sister still with you?" I nodded trying to understand how he knew me.

"She's inside." I gestured inside. "How do you know me? How did you find us?"

"I'll explain inside but my brother is hurt. I'm afraid it's infected."

"Of course come in." I ushered them in supporting the other side of grey eyes who was much heavier than what I had thought. He had a nasty gash one the side of his leg. I cleaned the wound as the young boy spoke.

"We were at the safe house with the others when they showed up. He nodded to Tuarwen. They were chaining us up like animals as they slaughtered our Gaurdians. My brother and I barely escaped with our lives." I listened intently as I stitched the wound together.

"Who are you and how did you find us?"

"I am Luke and that my brother Ben. We followed her when we over heared the conversation she had before she was kicked out." I glanced at the elf who just shrugged and began to play with the thin blanket. I rolled my eyes and consintrated on what I was doing.

"How old are you?"

"I'm 16 and Ben is 23." There, done. The wound was now cleaned and stiched. Then Tuarwen came to stand next to me.

"Is that what you call healing?"

"Fine then you fix it." I threw my hands up in surrender. I didn't feeling like fighting. I glanced over at Lils. She was taking in every detail of Luke. She better not get any ideas in that head of hers. She noticed me looking and quickly changed her glance.

"There, now that's healing." I glanced over at Tuarwen. The stiches were gone and so was the gash. In fact it was a fading scar now.

"We need to get going." I said to the crowed in the small motel room.

"Good idea because we've got a pack of Genii's on our tail." Luke said.

"What! You didn't feel like saying this earlier?" Everyone was rushing now. I ushered them out like small children. I felt like a mother trying to get all her kids out the door on time.

"I didn't think you would help us if you knew."

"Of course I would've." I hesitated. Wouldn't I? Just then a howl that seemed all to familer pierced the air.

Sorry for such a late update! I've been so busy with a dance production plus during rehearsal I sprained my wrist so that made my life all that more difficult. I also had exams not to mention the bad case of writers block! But any way here's the chapter and I hoped you enjoyed it! I will probably be updating less frequently because it's summer and all. Please excuse any errors I will go back and correct them later. Please don't forget to comment and vote!
