A/N: So I finally decided to write about one of my all time favorite characters Lucius from Fire emblem: Rekka no ken/ The Blazing blade. Every time I replay the game he is always in my team, he's basically a magical tank able to take down easily anybody with low res. And even if he's technically a trap I hope you enjoy.

I was walking down the streets of Aquleia, the capital of Etruria, heading over to the St. Elimine Church. I would always take some time off my day to make sure the orphans the church care for are fine and happy. I would bring them candy at times and even donate some books or toys for the kids to entertain themselves. The clerics and monks are usually really kind people but there are some who have abandoned the way of St. Elimine. Those cases are rare but I just pray they didn't harm anybody before abandoning their faith. At the moment I carried a bag of confectioneries to gift the children, they all had quite the sweet tooth, and upon reaching the church I notice a red haired man leaning against the wall next to the entrance. Being polite I say good day to him and his response was just a simple polite nod. Odd man but no matter, maybe waiting for someone or simply not social.

Entering the church I head to the altar where a statue of Saint Elimine stood and decided that I could afford some time to pray before going to see the kids. Nearing the statue I notice a long haired blonde figure crouching down in prayer who I didn't recognize as a frequent visitor, maybe shes a traveling cleric. Crouching down near her I began to pay my respects and pray for good health and happiness for me and the kids. I was praying for about five minutes and by the time I stood up the woman praying looked like she was nowhere near done, not wanting to interrupt her I grab my things and go to the courtyard of the church where the orphans could be found this time of day. Upon reaching the courtyard I say good day to the cleric in charge of supervising the kids today, she's fairly new and I didn't know her well but she was nice to the kids and less strict than the others. When the first of the kids spotted me they let out an excited yell to alert the others and I had to brace myself for the incoming stampede of children.

"Y/N, we missed you!!" The children said as they all came towards me and hugged me.
"And I missed you. I brought candy for all of you, but no eating it before dinner this time okay. You all got me in trouble last time." I tried to scold them but couldn't help the smile that surfaced upon looking at their faces.
"We're sorry Y/N. We promise." As they separated from me some held their hands out, practically begging for candy I brought. The bag in my hand had three packages inside; one was chocolates for the majority, one was lollipops for those who disliked chocolate and one was a small box of bite sized doughnuts. I had to make the doughnuts myself due to bakeries only selling regular ones and I didn't want the kids to spoil their appetite for later because I knew they were going to eat them before dinner anyways.
"Alright then since you promised, take your pick and one at a time. I don't want anybody getting hurt or left out."

It was about two hours later that I left the kids after giving them candy and playing with them. I had left the church and was heading home that I heard a cry of pain coming from an alley further ahead. Somebody could be hurt and I couldn't ignore that so I speed walked and went in despite the possible danger. I saw the blond woman that was praying in the church surrounded by three men, on was holding his bloody nose and cussing her out.

"You stupid wench! We'll kill you!" The man with the bloody nose said in anger.
"I'm sorry but you left me no choice in the matter." The woman said not looking away from the men surrounding her. They were closing in and the one to the left was raising his fist to attack. Before I could think my body was moving on its own, I ran towards him and even if I wasn't a fighter I went for it and kicked him behind the knees causing him to fall down in the pavement.

The men looked at me in shock but that quickly turned to anger as the uninjured man lunged towards me and grabbed me by the hair. The blond hit him as best she could but was stopped by the man I hit before. We were both defenseless and had no way of escaping. The bloodied man proceeded to hit us for all the trouble we caused him and his 'friends' and while I was more hurt than the blond woman I could still hear footsteps rushing towards us and a masculine voice calling out.
