Prom. Oh, how the seniors of Mystic Falls High School had been anticipating that event for all of their lives. And now it was right in front of them. Well, technically it was a few days away, but that's not the point. And all of the girls (and guys, too) were preparing themselves for what was supposedly set to be one of the greatest nights of their lives. In preparation, Bonnie, Caroline, and Amalia all found themselves shopping around town in search for the perfect prom dress. But as they did so, Bonnie happened to mention a recurring dream she had been having in which Jeremy visited her and forced her to wake up, and when she did, she was on fire. Or at least that's what happened in her most recent dream.
"What kind of dreams?" Caroline questioned as the three girls walked throughout the store, desperately looking for the 'perfect' prom dress.
"Usually I'm at his grave and all of a sudden, he appears to me." Bonnie answered as they all stopped at a mirror, giving Caroline time to examine her own appearance.
"Well, you did never get to say goodbye. Maybe it's your brain's weird way of doing so." Amalia threw out an idea as to what the reason for Bonnie's recurring dreams could be.
"When I woke up, the couch was on fire." Bonnie sent her a glance as if she was shutting down her idea with her eyes, which she was.
"I take back my former statement." Amalia formed her lips into a line and nodded her head once to let the Bennett know she had taken the hint.
" I don't know if it's because I was emotional in my dream, or if Shane was right. Without his help, I'll lose control of my magic." Bonnie admitted that she wasn't sure what the cause of it was, but whatever it was, it couldn't have been good.
"No, it's because you need a night off from mourning. And I'm gonna make sure that you have it." Caroline was determined to make sure that Bonnie had the best prom night of them all.
"Um, you look super hot, by the way." Bonnie informed the tallest girl of just how good she looked in the dress she had tried on as they all looked at her appearance through the mirror.
"You think?" Caroline was humble, though she knew she looked good.
"Oh, definitely." Amalia nodded her head, agreeing.
"Matt and I are gonna have the sexiest date there." Bonnie added, causing Amalia to snap her head in the direction of the Bennett witch.
"Uh, what about me?" Lia questioned as she raised her eyebrow, disappointed that she hadn't yet caught an invite from her best friends.
"You have a date." Caroline pointed out, but Amalia's expression didn't change a bit, and she got the hint eventually. "You don't have a date."
"Not after he sat me down to explain that under the circumstances, it would be better if he took--" Amalia paused for a second as the sound of the door opening echoed through the room, bringing all of their attention onto it to see Elena Gilbert walking in, "Elena."
