Tris POV:
I walk to the spring in a orange dress and white flats. When I reach our spot, Tobias isn't there. I sit on a rock. He's been acting really weird and there's not really much I can do. Every time I go near him, he's starts freaking out.
I sigh.
"Guess he's not coming." I whisper to myself.
I trudge back home. Feeling even worse than before.

Christina and I walk to the palace the next morning
"Hey. You feeling okay?" Christina asks me.
"Sure." I say.
"Tris."
"No. I'm not okay."
She hugs me.
"It's okay." Christina reassures me.
"I hope."
I walk to the kitchen to Lynn.
"Hey Peachy. How's everything?" Lynn says.
"It's okay."
Then I hear talking from the dining room.
I don't catch what Marcus says but I hear Tobias loud and clear.
"Fine. I pick Nita!" Tobias yells.
I feel my heart break in two pieces.
"Lynn. Tell the queen and the king I wasn't feeling too well. So I left." I say and run out of the palace.
Before I even reach my destination, I burst into tears.
I sit against a tree crying my eyes out.
Was I just part of a cruel plan?
