Tris POV:
I walk to Tobias's room so I can talk to him.
I open his door and see Tobias and Nita kissing.
I slam the door shut and walk down the hall.
I break into a run and head to the woods. I sit on a rock near the spring. Tears begin forming in my eyes.
I take off my closes and get into the spring. That way when I cry, someone would just think I've been in the spring to long.
I let the tears run down my face.
Then I hear footsteps.
"Hello?" A familiar voice calls out.
Thank God I'm wearing a swimsuit.
"Hellooo?" The voice says again. This time closer.
I turn around and see Nico.
"Tris?" He asks.
"Hey." I say.
"Hey. Can I join you?"
"Sure."
He takes off his shirt, leaving him in just his swim shorts.
He has a six pack and I stare at it longer than needed.
He chuckles and get into the spring.
"Sorry." I mumble.
"For looking at my abs? Don't be. I enjoyed the attention." Nico says smiling.
I laugh in response.
"You look like you've been crying." Nico says concerned.
"Oh no. I've just been in the spring to long." I say very unconvincingly.
He gives me a look and I sigh.
"I used to date Tobias, I heard somethings, he wanted to explain, I wanted to forgive him, but when I went to him earlier. I saw him making out with Nita." I say.
This time I don't want to cry. Nico pulls me into an embrace.
Even though we are in cold water and Nico's upper body is bare, the gesture warmed my body.
I pull back and before I know it,
I kiss Nico.
