[Dice is seen lying motionless on any ground you care to imagine for about ten seconds. The screen then shows Periscope and Aglet alone in Aglet's kitchen.]

Periscope: Well, I'm glad to hear that it's working out for you.

[Aglet doesn't say anything at this time. The camera changes to show an unknown figure approaching the body of Dice on the ground where they rested in the previous scene direction.]

Unknown: Get up.

Dice, very quietly murmuring under their breath: I wanna go home...

Unknown: I said get up.

Dice, a little more loudly: I want to go home, I said... I said I...

[There is a brief moment in which the unknown figure struggles to pick of Dice's body with a disappointing amount of resistance. The screen goes back to Aglet's kitchen, as previously seen in this episode, with the aforementioned people in it.]

Aglet: Yeah, it really is.

[Both Aglet and Periscope seem to be out of conversation topics.]

Aglet: I'm sorry that I don't have any coffee.

Periscope, who didn't come for the coffee: It's alright.

Aglet: I'm sorry that I...

Periscope: Don't know how to talk about Dice? It's ok. I mean, it's not, but... we really aren't quite sure what can be done about it.

Aglet: Do you know where they are?

Periscope: Yes. We just... can't get to them.

Aglet: It's really a problem.

Periscope: It is. I know.

[The screen cuts to the space in front of Periscope and Dice's house, where Dice is sitting. Dice looks to be in bad shape. Periscope walks into the frame.]

Periscope: Dice?

Dice, dazed: I don't know how to open the door.

[Periscope can't think of a response to that, and instead, they sit down next to Dice.]

Periscope: Are you hurt?

Dice, dazed: Yeah, I think so.

Periscope: Where does it hurt?

Dice, dazed: I mean no.

Periscope: D.

Dice, dazed: I'm ok. Just a little...

[Dice doesn't have an adjective for that.]

Dice, dazed: I wanna go inside, please.

Periscope: We can go inside. Can you stand?

Dice, dazed: ... I don't know how I got here.

Periscope: I can't pick you up.

[Dice extends their hand up towards Periscope. The screen cuts to Dice's bedroom, where Dice is laying on the bedroom floor, and Periscope is standing next to them.]

Periscope: Is that better?

Dice, dazed: I'm inside?

Periscope: Yeah.

Dice, dazed: Did you lock the door?

Periscope: I did.

Dice, dazed, and also resigned: Then yeah, that's better.

[Periscope pauses for a second.]

Periscope: ... How do you feel?

Dice, dazed: Mm...

Periscope: Does it hurt?

Dice, dazed: Yeah.

Periscope: Should I get Pipette?

Dice, less dazed: No.

Periscope: What happened?

Dice, returning to being dazed: ...It's not your fault.

[Periscope doesn't know what Dice is upset about.]

Dice, dazed: Really, it's not. I mean, it is, but I don't blame you.

Periscope: Blame me for what?

Dice, dazed: Kissing that stupid... cabinet handle.

Periscope: ... Oh.

Dice, dazed: Yeah, "oh."

Periscope: They kissed me first.

Dice, dazed: I don't care.

[Periscope doesn't know what to say.]

Dice, dazed: But it doesn't matter, I like you. We're friends. You make me food when I'm sad.

Periscope: Yeah, I do.

Dice, dazed: So that's what you're going to do for a while.

Periscope: I-

Dice, dazed: And I want new friends, you're going to find me new friends.

Periscope: ... I don't think I can do that.

Dice, dazed and sad: Why not?

Periscope: ... I'm having surgery soon.

Dice, dazed: ... Really?

Periscope: Yeah.

Dice, considerably less dazed: Good for you!

[Periscope is visibly flustered.]

Dice, considerably less dazed: That's so great, I'm really happy for you.

Periscope: Thanks, I'm-

Dice, now mostly just tired: When are you going?

Periscope: Next week.

Dice, tired: I'm really happy for you.

Periscope: I'll... ask Aglet over for while I'm gone, but I don't know how long it'll be.

Dice, tired: Make sure they bring me coffee.

Periscope: I will.

Dice, tired: And a deck of cards.

Periscope, amused: I'll make sure to mention it.

[They both pause. They remember that they were talking about Pipette.]

Dice, tired: So, are you two going to date?

Periscope: I don't know. Probably not. I don't think that either of us really want to, but I'm sort of leaving it up to Pipe at this point.

Dice, tired: That's not good for you.

Periscope: Well, you're one to talk.

[Dice doesn't respond to that, because they don't want to start crying.]

Periscope, realizing their mistake: I'm sorry.

Dice, tired: No, I get it. Can you get out of my room now?

Periscope: Because of what I said?

Dice, tired: No, I'm just really tired, and I want to be by myself now.

Periscope: Ok.

[Periscope hesitates in getting up for a full ten seconds before getting up to leave.]

Periscope, leaving: I'm really sorry.

Dice, tired, and, mind you, still on the floor: I forgive you.

[The door is heard opening and closing.]
