Bella's POV
When Charlie and I arrive at the house, it's raining and foggy, as always.
I hated the rain and the cold.
I carry my cactus in my hand, as Charlie insists on grabbing my suitcase.
Charlie and I have a very awkward relationship.
I never really got to know him, he always was so distracted and now that I know about Callie, I can understand why. The man never even got to meet his daughter.
I was so excited to meet my sister. I have seen pictures of her that Charlie has sent in the past week and she is beautiful to say the least.
We walk into the house and an amazing smell is filling the air.
It smells of cheese and pasta.
"Callie! We're home! Your sister is here!"
I hear a small squeak from what I remember to be the kitchen and then quick footsteps.
Callie skips out of the kitchen and launches herself onto me.
"Bella! It's so nice to finally see you! I feel like we already know each other. We're sisters! There is so much to catch up on."
Callie says this all so fast that I barely catch it.
All of the awkwardness melts away and I hug her back.
"It's so nice to meet you, sister."
She pulls back to take a look at me.
"Oh you are beautiful! I love your hair."
She touches a piece of my chestnut hair and then releases me.
I smile at her and mutter a thank you.
"What smells so good Cal? I didn't know you were cookin today." Charlie asks as he stands at the base of the stairs with my luggage.
"Italian. Why don't you go put Bella's stuff upstairs. I will set the table and show her around."
Callie says back.
Charlie smiles and nods, ruffling Callie's hair over the banister.
It seems like they have always known each other, although it seems impossible to not love this ginger girl.
"C'mon Bells, we have eating and talking to do. Plus, you have a house to tour."
I follow behind her as she retreats back to the kitchen.
"How has this week been with Charlie?"
I ask as she pours the noodles and sauce into bowls, then starts to top the pasta with grilled chicken.
Damn. Girl can cook.
"It's been great. I have never pictured having a dad being so much fun. I mean, Albus is amazing, but I always knew there was something missing. You know?"
I look at her a bit confused.
Albus? What a name.
"Oh! Yes! Sorry. I forgot that I haven't told you much about myself. I sometimes ramble.Albus is the man who raised me after Lily died. I never knew my real mom and dad didn't know about me."
She explains.
She begins to put the bowls down at three place settings, then, she puts a fork next to each one.
"He sounds really nice."
Is all I can think to say.
She nods quickly and walks to the door.
"Charlie! Time for dinner!"
I can hear Charlie's boots shuffle on the hardwood floors.
He walks into the kitchen and takes a seat at the small wooden table.
Callie pulls out a pitcher of water from the fridge and pours two glasses for her and I, then pulls out a beer for Charlie.
She sits at her seat, and I follow.
"So, Bells. Nervous for school tomorrow?"
Charlie asks, trying to make conversation.
"A little. It is something new."
Charlie nods and then looks to Callie.
"Actually Bells, there is something else that will be kinda new to you. We have something to tell you."
Callie looks down at her food.
"What is it?"
"Bella. I'm different." Callie whispers.
"Different?" I question.
"Yes. Bella, I am a witch."
