Bella's POV
"You're joking."
I whisper, looking at the ginger.
"No Bells. I can personally tell you that she is not joking."
"You're in on this?"
I ask Charlie, starting to get a little annoyed with their joking.
"Be-"
"No! I am not dumb enough to fall for something like this. I just got here and you guys are already trying to pull a prank on me? I am going to be-"
I say, but stop when I see the pitcher of water floating over the table.
I look over to see Callie staring up at the table intently.
"What? Ho-"
"Magic, Bells."
I look at her as the pitcher lowers.
I can't help but smile at the ginger.
"Callie, I'm sorry. I didn't know."
She just smiles a little and nods.
"I know, Bells. Don't worry about it."
Charlie is smiling at the two of us.
We continue to eat in silence for a bit.
"So, do you mind if I ask a couple questions?"
She nods and looks at me, waiting to speak.
"Can you do more than just levitating things?"
She nods quickly,
"Yes. I have a wide-range of abilities. Some that I can perform for you with the permission of Dumbledore." I explain.

Callie's POV
She thinks for a minute and nods. Then, we get back to eating, not saying anything.
After dinner, Bella  helps me do the dishes and we talk about boys.
"So, do you have a boyfriend back home?"
I ask as I dry off the last dish.
"N-no. No way. The boys there were all interested in the beach volleyball, tan girls."
She says and I raise an eyebrow but nod.
"How bout you?"
She asks, hoping up to sit on the counter.
"Well, there is a guy that I talk to. His name is Fred. He's a year younger than me."
"Robbing the cradle?" She asks raising her eyebrow.
"What is that?"
I ask confused, and she laughs.
"Anyways," I say after a while, "I have had a few flings with my best friend Cedric, but we keep it to friends with benefits."
Bella looks like she wants to say something, but doesn't.
After standing in silence for a bit, she announces that she's off to go unpack and sleep.
I look to see Charlie, sleeping on the couch. Football is on the TV.
I take the remote from his hand, turn off the tv, and pull a blanket over him, kissing his forehead.
"Night daddy." I whisper, and walk towards the stairs and to my room.

I sit on the bed and think about the last night. Then look to see what was in the package Fred had sent me earlier.
The first thing is a letter, then I look under it to see a newspaper. I read the headline in shock,
"Infamous Murderer Serious Black Escapes from Askaban. Leaves Authorities Flustered"
A picture of Black's mugshot sits in the middle of the front page.
"Bloody hell."
I whisper to myself, then grab the letter, opening it.
My Dearest friend,
I fear that war is inevitable in the time we are living in. Harry is staying in the Order's house, as am I. I have to remind myself not to stop at your door each night. I miss you.
Black has escaped and he is coming for Harry, and you're not going to believe it, but he's looking for you too.
Stay safe my friend and write back soon.
Warmest regards,
Your friend,
Fred Weasley
I look at the newspaper again, all of a sudden,I hear a knock on my window.
I can't help but gasp.
I walk over to it, pulling out my wand.
It starts to creek open slowly, and it takes everything in me not to fling a curse that way, but when I see who it is, I am definitely glad I don't.
"Bloody hell American's are noisy. You know, I just came from a park where I ended up landing and there was a group of them hanging about, all talking at once, the lot of them."
My best friend Ivy rambles on as she steps into my room.  I relax and she flashes one of her award-winning smiles at me.
