Ivy's POV
It's been three days since we met the Cullen's. Alice told me about being her mate later that night. She explained everything that I didn't understand when Dumbledore told us the night before. We have been spending every night at the Cullen's house, saying that Alice wants to get to know us before we leave.
Bella keeps asking us if we know when Edward is coming back but we honestly don't.
Today is Saturday, and we're going back to England on Monday to start our new semester. Our final year at Hogwarts is promising.
We are getting ready for our date, Callie walking out of the closet in a black sweater and a purplish skirt.
"You really do like skirts and sweaters."
I smirk, happy to be in my normal jeans and band tee-shirt.
"We can't all look as beautiful as you in a baggy tee and ripped jeans."
She comments, stuffing her wallet into her purse.
"Fair enough."
I answer as I sit up from the bed and go to look in her mirror.
Callie is reading the newest paper Fred has sent her.
Apparently Black was captured but mysteriously escaped before they could take him to Askaban.
Callie bites her lip and sighs.
"I cannot believe he got away again."
She whispers.
"Girls?"
We both turn our heads to see Charlie standing by the door.
"Alice and Jasper are here."
He smiles.
In the last week, he has become the father I have never had.
"Thanks, dad."
Callie says as she grabs he bag and jacket off the bed. I jump up, grabbing the paper and reading it as we walk down the hall.
"Bloody hell!" I shriek as we walk down the stairs. Callie trips in shock but I catch her.
Alice and Jasper are standing at the bottom of the stairs, looking up at us with concern.
Callie smirks, raising an eyebrow.
"Is everything okay?"
Alice asks in her usual squeaky voice.
"Caroline Minerva Swan, the most amazing thing ever in the history of the wizarding world has happened!"
I say, throwing the paper to the floor and grabbing Callie by the shoulders.
"Your middle name is Minerva?"
Jasper asks, Callie nodding. She then looks back to me.
"Voldemort fell into black hole and died instantly?"
She asks, looking somewhat hopeful.
"No! Better!"
I scream.
She rolls her eyes, stepping down the last step and walking towards the front door. I follow her and the two vamps follow us as we get lost in conversation.
"Better? What could b-" she stops as realization hits her.
"Oh no, Ivy Olivia Jones."
She opens the front door and walk out into the cold night.
"Can someone please tell us what is going on?"
Alice asks, and I feel bad for leaving my mate out.
"Hogwarts is hosting the Tri-Wizard Cup!" I scream in excitement.
Callie and I have been talking about going out for the tournament since we were 11 years old.
Jasper opens the passenger door of the car for Callie, as Alice an I jump in the back.
"The Tri-Wizard Cup?"
Jasper asks, eyeing Callie as he starts the car.
"It's kinda like the Olympics of the Wizarding world. Basically a bunch of schools get together and play against each other in different tasks. This is the first time in like forever that Hogwarts has been the host school. The first time that Ivy and I will be eligible."
Callie explains, looking to Jasper.
"Then why no? If this is one of the only games you might get to participate in?"
Alice asks from the left of me.
"Yeah Callie, why?"
I say, moving up to look at her.
"Because the games are extremely dangerous and I do not expect this game to go off without a hitch. With everything that's going on, I doubt this will be a peaceful games."
I slump down in my seat.
"Why do you always have to be right?"
I mutter, as I look to see both Alice and Jasper looking at us with confusion.

Callie's POV
I hear Ivy mumble from the back and I sigh, then hold out my hand to the back of me for her to hold.
"I know, love." I whisper, trying to hold back tears. "I know."
We pull up to a small cafe that looks a little too fancy for my taste.
Jasper goes around and opens the door for me as Alice does the same for Ivy. I look to see Ivy a little teary eye and I instantly regret bringing up the war.
"I think we should sign up."
I whisper and her eyes brighten up.
"Really?"
Alice and Jasper look like they are going to say something.
"Yes! We can't let it beat us, right?"
Ivy nods, sighing and grabbing Alice's hand.
They start to walk towards the restaurant and I grab onto Jasper, but he doesn't start walking.
"Let's talk a second." He whispers, his accent getting stronger.
I nod.
"There is something you need to know about me." He starts.
I wait for him to continue, staring at his beautiful face.
"I have-" he starts, "It's kinda like an alternate personality. When I get mad, protective, or scared, I lose control. Alice likes to call him the Major."
He eyes me carefully, looking for my reaction.
"The Major?"
I ask.
He nods, and I do too.
"Thank you for telling me, darling. I am so glad you trust me enough to share."
I press my lips lightly against his.
Then take his hand again and head into the restaurant.

Alice's POV
We sit down at a table and wait for Jasper and Callie. I wait till Ivy is all settled in to ask her.
"So why do you want to do this whole tournament thing if it's dangerous?"
I hate to be the overprotective mate but I waited all this time and it would kill me to lose her.
She sighs,
"Callie and I's lives haven't been normal lately. I mean, were witches, so they never have, but even more so. This has been something we have always talked about doing. I don't want to let this go because of all the stuff going on in our world."
She explains.
I look at her and get ready to say something , but stop when I see Callie and Jasper walking up.
