Callie's POV

I wake up the next morning, jolting to a sitting position, trying to escape the nightmare that threatens to eat me whole. Voldemort invades my dreams every single night, making it difficult for me to get any decent amount of sleep.

I groan while looking at the alarm clock sat on my bedside table. It is only 7:30 in the morning and my first class does not start till noon. Why did I have to be awake this early? Laying back down on my pillow, looking up at the ceiling for a couple minutes, I cannot help but thinking of the impending doom that seems to be swallowing the wizarding world. How are we going to get through this? With war so certain, is there really any meaning of finishing my last year here at Hogwarts? I am pulled out of my silent thoughts by the low buzzing of my phone vibrating on the nightstand. I sigh lightly and roll over to grab it.

Bella's name is shown across the screen. I wonder what she is doing awake at this time, it being only around 2 in the morning in Washington.

"Hello." I say as I answer it.

"Callie!" She screams, making me jump. "Edward told me that his family and him have gone by you and Ivy for a visit and I just wanted to see how it was going."

"They are doing well, Bells. They all seem to be very curious about our ways. I will text you later and let you know if anything interesting happens. Now, please go and try and get some sleep for school in the morning. No one likes a cranky Bella." I say with a laugh. I can already tell she is going red, blushing like crazy.

She makes a sound of agreement and sighs, saying, "Okay, okay. I will call you in a couple days. I'll tell Charlie you said hi. Please keep an eye on Edward and his family for me." She asks, and I nod. Then, I remember that she can't see me, I verbally agree.

We say our farewells and I love yous and then hang up. After the call with Bells, I feel that it is time I get up for the day, knowing the Cullens are probably anxiously waiting to start their day.

Grandfather asked me to show them around and I know that if we want to hit all the good stops around the castle, we will have to start early.

I quickly get changed into a skirt, sweater vest with a white buttoned up shirt under it, some long black socks, and finish my generic schoolgirl outfit off with some black converse. Bella had given me a pair as my parting gift before we left for school and I absolutely love them.

I grab my wand and phone and walk out of my room.

The Cullens are all in the same spots we left them last night, situated around Grandpa's desk. I smile at them as they notice my entry.

I look over to see Ivy sleeping on one of the arm chairs in the corner and roll my eyes slightly.

Alice is watching her from where she is sitting on the other side of the room, talking to Edward about an upcoming baseball game they were preparing to have on their arrival home.

Since when to vamps play baseball? I was going to have to do some research on that.

I tapped Ivy lightly on the shoulder, trying to be gently in the process of waking her up. This didn't stop her from jolting away and pointing her wand up at me.

The Cullens all jumped into action, crouching towards us, Jasper getting ready to defend me and Alice, Ivy.

I roll my eyes again as Ivy comes to recognize me.

She looks to see her audience around us and swiftly puts her wand down.

"Bloody hell. I could have killed you." She says, running a hand through her long hair and sitting up. The Cullens seem to relax as I shrug and say,
