Callie's POV
Ivy follows me as I walk through the doors and into the large castle halls. The Cullens seem to hesitate for a moment but then stand, as Ced waves us all off.
My relationship with Cedric was complicated right now. He was great, I was the one with the real problem.
When I was younger, I thought my mom would come for me. I always thought she was out there, waiting for me. I guess every orphan thinks that. I was a little crushed when I learned she isn't out there, but I had a brother now and was happy to just have some type of biological family.
Ced tried to be patient, I know. He was doing his best. On the bad days, he was there to listen to me or just watch me while I think. On the good days, like today, Ced was close to paradise. As I sat by him earlier, we agreed to have a picnic by the pond later. He was going to sneak some food from the great hall and I was going to grab a blanket and a basket from my grandfather's office.
I want Ced to feel happy, he deserves it. I could not help but feel bad as I looked back at the Cullens and saw Jasper looking around at the moving artwork.
Jasper is a good guy and deserves to be happy also, and I've messed it up. He was obviously attached to me now. I walked through the outside of the castle and onto the grass,
"Aren't we supposed to finish our tour of campus right now?" I hear Alice ask from the group trailing behind me.
Ivy nods as she walks next to me.
"Yes, the important parts of the castle will all be highlighted in this lovely tour. So here, down this path and to the left, do you all see that small shack?"
Ivy dramatically pointed to the shack to emphasize its location.
All the Cullens nod.
"That is where our groundskeeper, Hagrid lives. If you need anything and Ivy and I are not around, he is your best bet. Hagrid is one of the only people we trust and for good reason. He's the farthest thing from a dark wizard that there is."
The Cullens seem to take note of this.
"The forest back right by the shack is the forbidden forest. Don't go in there, it's really tempting, we know. We get caught in there about five times a year but it is dangerous. Do us all a favor and do not make us go fetch you from there." Ivy explained.
"If it's so dangerous, why do you guys go back there so much?" Jasper asks, looking angry. Ivy rolls her eyes and answers before I can.
"Why do we want to put our names in the goblet? Obviously we feel alive when we are in danger."
Jasper doesn't seem to like this and I hear a little growl from him.
"Do not fret. Ivy, Ced, and I have been together for years. We have each other's backs and are pretty quick on our feet." I add to try and calm everyone down.
I walk towards the quidditch field. When we get closer, I see that Ced has moved from the breakfast table finally and is not zooming through the sky. He's out quit early, especially because I know he has no classes today. His dedication to his favorite sport, and everything else he does in life inspires me to be better. He doesn't seem to notice our entrance and continues to do impressive loops throughout the sky. I smile up at him.
"Okay. Quidditch, we have mentioned it before but this is where we watch and play. Honestly, just about the most fun thing you will ever do. Take it from Ivy and I, it is a blast."
As I am saying this, Ced swoops close to the ground and sweeps me off my feet.
I scream a little as I feel his arms wrap me up and pull me onto his broom. We go higher and higher till we are up into the clouds. I can't help but laugh as Ced smirks at me.
"You know, that was very rude. I was giving a tour."
