Chapter Fourteen

John's POV

"Where the hell are you Lee..." I growl under my breath. I search through the hospital files quickly.  My fingers are trembling and mouth dry as a dessert.  God I was such a dick to him after what happened between us....  I need to fix that.

"What are you looking for John?"I nearly jump out of my skin and glance at Eliza. I smile at her softly, I remember her in that little cottage the day I took Alex. She held up a spoon and started yelling holy names at me.

"Uh... you know that kid, Charles I think, who came in the other day. He was cocky, kind of a prick. A general asshole." I go back to looking through documents. She nods slowly and frowns.

"Yeah, what do you want from him?" She scoffs." I thought he tried to cope a feel on you. Why would you want to find him?"

"Uh... long story." I sigh. " Maybe you'll understand one day,but I really need to find Charles."

She sighs,bites her lip, and walks over to the cabnint with the cases of the upperclass doctors, the assholes that take care of the rich assholes. I just did helped, I wasn't his assigned doctor.

"I know I'm not suppoused to do this.."She sighs and pulls out the folder, she starts looking through it. "But you seem like you realky nees to find him.  Hes in room 157."

"Thank you Eliza." She smiles at me and nods before I take off at a steady speed walk down the hallway, muttering numbers under my breath. I slow down at the second floor when I get close to the room I'm looking for. I slow to a stop.

Do I.... want to do this too him? I wake up those memories he's put on Aaron's target list. He'll be put into danger. But if I don't.... he wont remember me. He won't remember us. He might hate me... no... he will hate me. I'll be suprised if he ever wants anything to do with me again. Am I doing this for him or myself?

Am I doing this in hopes that I'll have someone to love and someone to love me again? Or am I doing this so he can have his memories.  He deaerves to know. He's a good man when he doesn't want to be an asshole.

I sigh and slowly open the door. The sound of the tv is soft and the chirping of someone texting on their phone. I sigh, redo my ponytail, and slowly walk into the room. He has dark circles under his eyes and is deathly thin. Stupid guy rook a dare from one of his rich freinds for a million dollars if he didn't eat for two weeks. I'm suprised he's still alive.

"Mr. Lee?" He looks up from his phone a smirk splits his face. He sets his phone face down and winks at me.

"Hey there Doctor Sexy." I roll my eyes and sign into the computer, to look like I'm professional.  Ya' know?

"My name is Doctor Laurens, you know that ." I smile at him and look over the documents." How are you feeling today?"

"Well, if I saw you naked that'd make me feel ten times better Doc." He leans over at me and eyes sparkle happily. I wonder if he still has the shapeshifter blood in him. Alex, Thomas, Philip, and I still have the Fae, George still has the angel. Can you stop an angel from being an angel though? So maybe he does have it somewhere.

"You and ten million other people Mr. Lee." I smile and finish the paper work. " How was breakfest?"

"Would've been better if you could've joined me." He sighs dramatically.  I can't help but let my smile grow and laugh.

"I have other patients Mr. Lee. I can't just spend all my time with you, this isnt a party." I sit on the edge of the bed and put my hand to his head, his fevers gone.

"Man, I never wished for a party more then I do right now then ." He laughs and looks up at me. We sit in silence for a few minutes before his eyes meet mine and we hold the gaze.

Without warning he launches himself forward. His hands tangle into my hair and he pulls me into the kiss. I freeze for only a second before I lean into it with a smile.  My hands rest on his cheeks and his hands slip down to my hips. We sit like that for a few minutes, sharing hurried breaths and  quick kisses.He pulls back after a minute and gives me a crooked smirk, the one that flashes his teeth. He sighs happily.

"I knew it was you John."
