Twenty Four

George's POV

My breath catches in my chest and eyes widen, I back up quickly and my back slams against the wall.  Alex glances at me and Thomas bites his lip nervously.

"What's that matter George?" Aaron smirks and puts his hands in his pockets smoothly. " Scared?"

"I-I'm never scared of you." I shake my head and nails dig into the wood" You should be scared of me!" He cocks his head and cocks a thoughtful eyebrow.

"No...no I've never been scared of my own son ." He shakes his head slowly.

"I'm not your son anymore. "I snarl and he laughs, his eyes fall on Thomas and he tenses. His hand drifts to over his chest and panic floods his eyes. He glances at Alex, it takes a minute for the shorter of thw two to figure out what has Thomas terrified. His eyes widen and they shoot a silent conversation between themselves.

"What is it?" Philip leans over and whispers.

"The pendant. " Alex ignores his son and turns to Maria. Her eyes widen and body freezes up.

Oh ... that pendant. Yeah the one that could turn Thomas batshit crazy and colder the northern kingdom.

"Oh that old thing?" Aaron cocks his head and grins." I have it in a safe spot, don't look so scared. It's in good hands."

"George kill him." Philip looks at me and breaths out.  My muscles tense for a second before I nod and look at dad.... Aaron.

I snarl and he tucks his handd behind his back. I tense and he leans against the wall slowly.  My eyes harden and freeze with anger and his dance with laughter, like a dancer around a fire. My legs launch me forward and an inhuman snarl echoes from my throat into the grand hall. He smirks and pushes himself off the wall.

"Freeze Geogre." He purrs and I freeze. In mid air, limbs frozen and body suspended in the air. Everyones eyes widen and their breath suck in, Laf curses under his breath and he tries to move forward, yet its like his feet are frozen to the ground.

"George!" Philip lunges at me but his feet arw frozen too. He lets out a sob of fear and looks at me. Alex is pulling at his feet and the air around him steaming,he's getting hot. Aaron slowly strolls towards me and fingers curl around my jaw. His studies me and smirks ear to ear.

"Just the way I like you, obidant and silent." I glare and growl." All I wanted was a normal happy life George, but appearntly that wasn't enough. "  He snaps and the temperature dips colder.

"A life with you isn't a life at all." Thomas hisses.  Aaron sighs, rolls his eyes and glare at Thomas sharply.

"Shut it Thomas, or I'll do it myself ." Thomas' jaw clamps together tightly.

"Go to hell." Philip hisses and his eyes train back on me worriedly.  I give a soft smile and look at Aaron with a scowl.

"I already visted. "He sighs and grabs my ankle, he starts pulling me down the hall. My eyes flair and I try to push against the magic. Its like trying to make a brick wall move out of your way. Philip gasps and he lunges for us. He doesnt move." But maybe we'll visit again. After our littls talk,"
