I woke up with a massive headache, and a pair of inquisitive eyes staring at me.

"So? Was it awful? Fun? Daring..." I moaned, and raised my hands to my head to somehow releases the pressure.

"It was fun. Happy?" I snapped. I wish I could've taken it back the moment it had released. Hurt slapped across her face, only to be quickly replaced by a stern look.

I sighed. "Sorry. Can we just put last night behind us?"

She looked at me, seeming to contemplate her answer.

"Fine. But you have to make me breakfast." She cocked an eyebrow, a playful expression on her face.

I laughed. "Fine."

After many bowls, spoons, and flour, we descended outside, the warmth hitting us immediately. We fanned ourselves with our hands, and I looked out over the beach, seeing 'early-birds' swimming. If only I had the anticipation.

"So do you like this guy, or what?" Mia asked abruptly, and suddenly.

I looked over at her, but she stared ahead, obviously avoiding my gaze.

"I don't really know. I mean, he's cute and all. Good manners. So yeah, I guess I do." I playfully elbowed her, and started to chase ahead.

"Hey!" I heard her yell. I laughed, and sped up. My long legs bringing be further away from her, my feet; sinking into the wet sand for a millisecond, but only springing back up again to create more footprints.

Slowing down, I turned, seeing Mia standing with her hands on her hips, her shoulders rising and falling.

"Damn you."

I grinned, and offered her my arm.

"Let's go before the town gets doubled over." She groand. Together we walked toward the town, and decided to get an ice cream. I know. Were fat.

"Alright, what does he look like?" Mia asked, her hand shielding out the sun. We were sitting on the beach, watching kids and adults play frisbee, volleyball, and catch. I licked my rocky road ice cream.

"Dirty-ish blonde hair. Tan. Cute."

She sighed. "Unless you haven't noticed Al, most of the boys in this city have those exact characteristics." I grinned.

"Fine. Messed-up-on-purpose-hair. Freckles, and green eyes. Oh, and he usually wears polo."

She nodded, and her eyes were searching quickly. She smirked. "That one?" I looked to where she was pointing, and sure enough, it was Chase. He was playing volleyball, shirtless if I might add, wearing swim shorts, and an army dog tag around his neck. Holy crap.

I grinned, and looked over at Mia. "The very one."

But it didn't seem like she was listening. Her eyes were widened slightly, and her grip on her ice cream was wrenched, causing the cone to crack ever so slightly.

"Mia?"
