Isn't if funny how music can enhance a moment? Honestly, I feel that it takes away from the moment of jumbled, confused thoughts

I love it, and here I was, lying in my bed, listening to Jasmine Thompson's eery, beautiful voice.

The constant calls, and texts stopped from you-know-who. I realized, because my music wasn't repeatedly pausing. It was somewhat relaxing, yet I felt like I was being forgotten.

But I wanted to be forgotten.

Mia was out, and it didn't take a genius to know who she was with. That back stabber..

And in this thought, I meant Chase and Mia.

Jasmine's voice was suddenly ripped out of my ears, and I sat up, my heart pounding.. Mom was standing above me, staring down with a disapproving look.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"I know you weren't sick the other day."

Crap. "Um, yes I was!"

She squinted. "Two minutes later I saw you outside from my window. Do you think I'm dense?"

I gaped. How was I going to get out of this? I grabbed my sides like I just experienced searing pain. "Ow! Mom! Call the ambulance. I think-I think I'm having a seizure!" I let my body shake rapidly, and uncontrollably.

She stood, staring at me motionless.

I stopped. It was worth a shot. This just proves I won't be any Cameron Diaz anytime soon.. Dang. And I was really hoping that would be my backup career.

"Look, mom. Im sorry."

She raised an eyebrow, and blew out a breath. "Can you tell me why you acted sick? Is it because you didn't want to hang out with me in town?"

"No, mom no! The problem wasn't you. Honestly. " I said quickly, my eyes widened. I was trying to avoid the topic of town, and Chase if you haven't noticed.

She was quite, as if she was trying to convince herself of the truth, or of a possible lie. "Alright, alright. I believe you. Just, don't act sick again."

Turning to leave the room, Mom moved her head slightly and added, "Nice acting by the way, you had Mia fooled." She added a wink.

So she knew.

( Chases POV)

"Erm, are you sure about this man?" Parker stood across from me, eyeing me. I had gotten Sophia, Ally's sister, to help take action in this one.

I nodded, surveying my work. "Yeah, I think so."

I looked at Sophia. "What do you think?"

She cocked her head, her blue eyes surveying the present. "I think it's very.. Cliche."

My eyes widened, and my heart sunk. Shoot.

"Cliche in a good way, though!" She added quickly. She really did look like Ally. It was like looking at a mini-her.

Parker's little brother came out, and looked at Sophia. "Who's this?"

I glance at Sophia. "This is Sophia. Sophia, Ben." Her cheeks reddened, and she warily smiled. Ben did the same, and held out his hand.

"Nice to me you."

"Like-wise."

Oh boy. I started to grin, and Parker was doing the same, encouraging his little brother.
