The Run:

Lindsey is kicked out of her foster house, and has trouble finding a place to go. She cannot get emancipated, because those things take time. She can't go to her family, because she has none. So when her friend volunteers a boy, who is a complete jerk, to help her out; some things are said and done.

Sneak peek:

I woke up around four in the morning, and peeked in horror at a dark figure slipping through the door. I slowly, and carefully reached into my bag, which was in arm distance. I made my hand crawl like a spider, and immediately found was I was looking for. Out of the corner of my eye, the figure was edging closer. I jumped up, and pressed the trigger of my mace bottle.

"Aghhhh!"

"Aghhhh!"

Words of wisdom: always carry a bottle of mace when your a foster child, but always check whom the person is your ambushing.

The lights turned on shortly after, and by reflex, my arm reached up to cover my eyes.

"Who the hell are you?" A boy demanded. He had chestnut hair, which was messy. His green eyes were wide were confusion, yet were red from irritation. He was also shirtless, paired with red and blue striped boxers. He was, after all, attractive. His abs shown a deep indent in his chest, and I forced my eyes not to linger.

"Who are you?" I sputtered.

He squinted. "I'd like to think you have the common decency to answer me first. You just sprayed me with mace."

I frowned, not enjoying his attitude, and crossed my arms across my chest. "Lindsey. Lavenders best friend." I explained as if he should've known.

"Oh I'm sorry that wasn't included in the handbook." He spit out.

I smirked. "Well I am sleeping here."

"So am I."
