Isaac and I were walking away from the high school, he was on my ass, just like Ke'aysha was earlier. "You're gonna talk it out because I feel like you've been very avoidant with me lately."

For some reason, everyone was just following me after I come out of buildings. Isaac was not very prone to pester me on things, like this, but I understand his concern. "Isaac, I'm not going to talk about it. I'm going to meet up with Commander and Warrior's Field. Are you coming or not?"

Isaac was silent for a moment, examining me and my posture. He pursed his lips together and shook his head, "Lead the way, Alpha." He spoke.

I moved forward anyway and I heard Isaac behind me whether he believed me or not. We walked forward as the face of Pack Royals, there were a few stares from onlookers, but no one approached us which I was grateful for. I didn't want to draw attention right now and I didn't have the patience to be polite to anyone right now.

Isaac came up to my shoulder and began a conversation on our walk to the Warriors' Field. "Caroline wants another family dinner again. With the family this time."

I forgot that I had planned a family dinner last night. I was too busy with other things to even think that I was even hungry. I guess I should participate this time. Hopefully, Ke'aysha would come down and we can talk. I'm hoping to have everything sorted in my head since that's all I can think about these last couple of hours.

I nodded and answered simply, "That sounds good."

Isaac pulled out his phone and scrolled for a little bit before talking to me again, "Caroline wanted you to pick dinner tonight. She was thinking shrimp noodle soup, breakfast for dinner, or a homemade lasagna. Whatever you decided, she was leaning more towards a lot of carbs."

I had the perfect answer, "Mac and cheese."

"Mac and cheese? Like as a side?" Isaac asked.

I shrugged, not wanting to complicate things anymore, "We could add a meat to it. Like beef."

Isaac nodded and put the note down on his phone and continued to walk on. "Beef mac and cheese sounds like a good idea. Something simple."

I walked up to my Warrior Commander on the Field and it took him a minute to address me and greet me with the formals. "Alpha Alexander.Beta Isaac.  What a pleasant surprise." I could see he was uncomfortable by my visit. I should have told him I was planning to meet with him, but everything couldn't have been that bad.

There were different sections of my warriors working throughout the field. About 4 groups of nearly 150 groups. Some working on defense. Some working on attacking. Some were learning past formations we've taken throughout our history. Others were conditioning, running in a giant clump of rows around the outside of the designated field, most of them breathing heavy, but not showing it. This was only the afternoon warriors who were scheduled to train at the moment. Some went to the human college nearby. Some being apart of my army since high school and beyond. Everything was voluntary and a lot of men and some women wanted to devote their lives to protecting what they knew was theirs.

The Commander was overlooking the training, bouncing from group to group and going through a mental checklist. I remember back when I and Isaac were training. They separated us from the majority and The Commander himself got up extra early for us to train and not intervene with anybody else's schedules. That's probably why we got so much muscle when we were younger.

He turned towards us and wrung his fingers as he spoke, "Anything I can do you for?"

I didn't want to make small talk and cut straight to the point, "I need to know if you heard anything from the two informants that we sent to scout."
