Okay, so.
A few days ago, February 14th, to be exact, there was a shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
Now, there are a couple of things that piss me off about this....
But, before said rant, I'd like to say a few things.
As you may know, the shooter planned this and had autism, among a couple of other conditions.
He pulled a fire alarm to coax people outside and shot and killed 17 people, injuring around 20.
Now, I'll get a tad ranty.
He used an AR-15.
AR DOES NOT
I FUCKING REPEAT
AR DOES NOT STAND FOR
assault rifle
Or
automatic rifle
You can't just hold the fucking trigger and rapid-fire.
IT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT.
It fires one shot. Reload. One shot.
ONE SHOT AT A TIME.
Just like a handgun.
It IS NOT a machine gun.
That's my first ranty bit...
My second ranty bit is this:
You CANNOT take away our guns and means of protection to "prevent school shootings" and to "prevent suicide", "prevent murder".
It is not a matter of guns or weapons, it is the the person behind that weapon.
What happened is unjustifiable.
No one should've died that day.
It has affected so many lives.
I give my heart out to anyone who was affected or are still being affected by this incident.
Please, if you would, keep those people in your thoughts.
