As Madelyn sobbed in Sweet Pea's arms, she couldn't help but wonder how she had gone from a ruthless bitch to a blubbering mess.
She had gone from being one of the most feared Serpents, to being the Blossoms' charity case.
Cheryl loved her like a sister, that was true, but no one could deny the fact that the Blossoms took Manic in and somehow turned her into one of their own.
Manic had, in almost every sense, become an honorary Blossom. What surprised Manic the most, however, is that she didn't mind. She didn't mind that Penelope and Cheryl now thought of her as their family, but she did mind that she had turned her back on her serpent family.
Manic had turned her back on those who swore to protect her, and she could never forgive herself for that.
She had been ripped away from her family, and it was her own fault. She hadn't even known about the new recruits, hadn't even known about Sweet Pea, the very boy who was now holding onto her as she wept.

Manic pulled away from the taller boy, wiping away the tears on her cheeks and trying to hide her embarrassment.

"Sorry," She sniffled, sneaking a look at Sweet Pea

"Sorry," She sniffled, sneaking a look at Sweet Pea. He was staring at her intensely, worry clouding his features.
He couldn't hide it, not when she had just fallen apart in front of him.
"For what," he muttered, genuinely not knowing why she would be sorry.
Manic bit her lip and turned to face him; however, kept her eyes locked in the rings that adorned her fingers.
"For...ruining your shirt," Manic stuttered, cringing at the cliche line.
The truth was, she didn't even know what she was sorry for. The fact that she had broke down on him, someone she barely knew? The fact that she had abandoned the Serpents, and therefore had abandoned him before they had even met? Or perhaps, was it the fact that she had punched him in the face a few days ago?
She hadn't a clue about why she was sorry, she just knew she was.

The fact that she had broke down on him, someone she barely knew? The fact that she had abandoned the Serpents, and therefore had abandoned him before they had even met? Or perhaps, was it the fact that she had punched him in the face a few days ...

"Damn, I've been reduced to a cliche, haven't I?" Sweet Pea chuckled, trying to lighten up the situation. And, unlike Fangs, he somehow managed to bring a ghost of a smile to Manic's face.

"I guess so," she laughed, shaking her head slightly.
They sat in silence for awhile after that, neither knowing what to say, before Manic turned the car on and turned to Sweet Pea with a lazy grin on her face.
"Want to go to the quarry?"

When Manic and Sweet Pea pulled off the road and parked on a small patch of grass, they wordlessly swung open the car doors and got out.
Sweet Pea stood in silence as Manic reached back into her car and shoved something in her pocket.
With a mischievous grin she closed her door and locked the car, walking ahead of the dark haired boy.
He followed after her, biting his lip as he watched her walk away from him and towards the quarry.

"Stop staring at my ass, Sweetheart!" Manic called back, laughing loudly when Sweet Pea flipped her off

"Stop staring at my ass, Sweetheart!" Manic called back, laughing loudly when Sweet Pea flipped her off.
When the pair reached the quarry they saw that it was deserted, both teens relieved at the fact.
Manic waited for Sweet Pea to catch up to her before taking his hand in his, slightly flinching as the cold of his rings sunk into her skin, and dragged him to her favorite spot.
It was at the highest point of the small cliffs, and its view spanned the entire quarry.
Manic approached the drop off with no hesitation, leaving Sweet Pea to follow her, and sat down, swinging her legs over the edge.
Sweet Pea followed after her and, although much less graceful, followed her actions.
Manic swung her legs slightly, staring down at the lake that appeared to be a bottomless abyss.
Sweet Pea, however, watched the redhead out of the corner of his eyes.
He had heard about the bitchy Serpent princess long before he joined the gang, and he couldn't help but think that they were wrong.
Manic was a bitch, yes, but that wasn't who she really was. She was just as fucked up as the rest of them, the only difference was that she knew how to hide it.
Manic knew how to hide it so well in fact, that she had even hid the real her from herself.

Sweet Pea has been so caught up in his thoughts that he hadn't noticed Manic pull out a roll of something, light it up, and then bring it to her mouth.
She took a long drag before pulling it away, letting the smoke slither out, and handing it to the boy beside her.
Sweet Pea didn't hesitate before taking a drag as well. They both knew that they needed it. Manic, because her life seemed to be falling apart around her, and Sweet Pea, because his life had already fallen apart.
Madelyn laid her head on Sweet Pea, and took another hit off of their shared addiction.
To anyone watching, it would have seemed as if the pair were two young, misguided teens who just happened to find salvation in one another. But, they both knew it was more than that.
They had found themselves in one another.

So like, the website I use to get the script is being fucky, so for now we get fluff.
