Amy ran out into the corridor, out of breath, it wasn't empty anymore so people were giving her strange looks. She had no  idea what the pebbles were for but by the secrecy of the room and how undisturbed it was, she guessed it wasn't something to be messed with.

"Amy!" Came a familiar voice and she turned round to see her brother, "are you alright?"

"Yeah, I'm fine" Amy lied and Percy knew it but he also knew that Amy would tell him later when there was no one around to listen.

"Well, I don't think you guys have been introduced" he gestured round at the three boys, " This I Amy guys, my twin sister and Amy this is Tayz, Zac and Azuri"

"Cool nice to meet you guys, shall we go to dinner?" Amy grinned.

"We were just on our way, I'm absolutely starving" moaned Zac, "you could probably hear my stomach rumble from Australia"

"I hope they have a nice and juicy roast..." Azuri looked distant.

"Mmmm, you can definitely smell one" Zac licked his lips as they came up to the crowd making its way into the main hall.

"I'm just looking forward for pudding" Percy licked his lips.

"That's the only thing you ever look forward for" Amy laughed as they followed him to the hall.

The hall was bustling with people as the talked happily over dinner about their holidays, or greeted new students and Amy felt a bit happier as she sat down with the boys. It was indeed a roast for dinner and a portion appeared on it as soon as they touched the plates.

"This place is amazing" Amy breathed, "I wonder if our parents went here"

"I think that maybe they did" Percy said, " Azuri was telling me there's a school in France, yet they brought us all the way here!"

"Yeah" Azuri mumbled over his food, "there's schools all over the world according to my mum, but Rovesier is the best and the biggest, she works as a schooling governess or something like that"

"Cool" Amy commented.

"I dunno, she travels around a lot and is hardly ever home" Azuri shrugged.

"That's the same with my dad, he's a defence officer, combat spirit you see" Tayz said.

Amy and Percy didn't reply, not quite sure what to say as they didn't know anything about the kind of jobs Spirits did, let alone who their parents were and what they did for a living.

"I'm so nervous about room pairings" Zac had already finished his plate of food and was onto pudding, " I hope I'm one of the lucky ones who doesn't get put with a girl"

"I forgot you guys haven't been told yet, guess they're gonna mention it in the meeting at eight" Percy said.

"Where are you guys at then?" Azuri Asked.

"Second floor room 12–oh hey Alex!" Amy spotted their friend from the first day.

"Hey Amy, just wanted to congratulate you guys for getting into Rivinell...no idea how they decide you are suitable for each house but I'm glad your in mine" he grinned before heading out the hall with his friends.

"Hurry up guys, I don't want to be late for this meeting" Zac said.

"It's not our fault we don't have the power to eat at a hundred miles an hour" Tayz Rolled his eyes and Azuri snorted a laugh.

"Better than being as slow as a a snail" Zac retorted.

The twins watched with a smirk as the boys threw silly insults at each other, it was clear that none of them actually meant what they said and that made them hope that theyd found the right group of friends.

Tommy and Alice watched from a distance glad the twins had made some friends. They had decided between each other that it was best if they told them about the prophecy and all the madness with the dark spirit the next day as it was a Sunday and nobody had any lessons.

Alice had spent a good deal of the holiday doing some digging about the prophecy and the dark spirit himself as the first part of it was clear about there being two spirits but parts of it like the weapon the dark spirit could harness and the four stones and the walker were still not very clear. It seemed no one else knew a lot about it or just didn't believe in it . Alice had to, after what she had experienced and two of her friends had been taken from her, she had to believe that he could be destroyed, especially from what she had read about him in history books.

"I've heard that those two are water spirits" Tommy said breaking Alice's trance.

"Really?"

"Yeah, Alex said yesterday"

"Aren't elemental some of the rarer types?" Alice said, "and twins that are the same as-well?"

"Yeah" Tommy answered, "I think there are two fire spirits in our year, but I dunno about the years above, obviously the fairies are elementalists and elves are earth but I dunno about all the spirits"

"You know, I found something when I was digging" Alice said quietly.

"Yeah?"

"Akliadite spirits were the result of fairies and spirits, that's why it was banned because the akliadites were  beloved to be too over powered"

"If they were so powerful, then how come the dark spirit killed them all?" Tommy questioned.

"I dunno, maybe there weren't that many of them or something" Alice shrugged, "but I think some survived the massacre and they've got something to do with the prophecy"

"They would've been found wouldn't they?" Tommy pointed out.

"I dunno, I'll have to find out cos I couldn't get much about out of my parents and I was a bit limited in literature over the summer" Alice said, " I'd like to hope at least one survived since they sound like the only spirits who can stand against the dark spirit"

"We all need something to believe in when the darkness comes" Tommy said, "something worth fighting for"

"You go a bit poetic sometimes Tommy" Alice grinned.

"I'm being serious"

" I know and I love that about you but I'm not that good with riddles" she patted him on the shoulder, come on, let's go to the dorms, I still havnt written that birthday card for Freros"
