A/N: Heyyyy guys! IM BACK!

Okay. I just want to make a HUGE disclaimer.

I KNOW NOTHING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT BASKETBALL. LIKE SERIOUSLY, I SHOULD NOT BE WRITING ANYTHING ABOUT BASKETBALL GIVEN MY LACK OF KNOWLEDGE. But, the timeline of the story works out so that the characters are in the middle of winter right now, and that's the sport that's going on. So, with that being said... I did my best to research all I could about basketball. I KNOW PROBABLY NOTHING I WROTE IS ACCURATE BUT PLEASE BEAR WITH ME.

By all means, if any of y'all are well versed in basketball, feel free to correct me, but I did my best!

So, now I got that out... on with the story!!

Chapter 13

Skylar

I rang the doorbell to Anthony's house and straightened my shirt while I waited for him to answer. Suddenly the door swung open and Hunter stood there, with wide eyes.

"Wow," He coughed and let me inside. "You look hot," His eyes raked over my body and he bit his lip.

"Thanks," I smiled and gave him a quick hug. "I wasn't sure if I was over doing it."

I looked down at my outfit. I was clad in one of my old Knicks jersey and knicks bomber jacket with simple black leggings, paired with my blue and orange high tops. I had two small orange and blue heart stickers on my left cheek bone, near my eye, and a beanie with the Knicks logo on it, carefully placed at the back of my head. I didn't want to seem like a crazy fan, because I wasn't, but I also knew enough to wear the jersey and actually know which player I was rooting for.

"Definitely not," He shook his head

"Definitely not," He shook his head. "Some of those crazies paint their entire body just to root for their team. This is on the tame side."

"Good," I sighed, feeling relief flood through my body. Aside from not wanting to over do it, I didn't want to seem like I was trying too hard to impress Anthony. I wasn't. Well, maybe I wanted him to be impressed just a little. But in all honesty, I just wanted to have fun and relax. College apps were fast approaching, and I still haven't even started a majority of them yet. I needed to get this last bit of fun in before the craziness.

"Sorry I can't come today," Hunter frowned and wrapped his arm around me. "I'd love to see what you're like when you are all sports crazy."

I stared at him glanced into his eyes. He seemed genuine, and I had every right to believe he was. Anthony didn't think he would be able to keep up his "act" but I honestly didn't think it was an act. I could tell that Hunter was trying hard to stop his playboy ways, and I appreciated it. I may not like him as much as I did before, but it was definitely attractive.
