Nico's POV
It was sad to see Piper. She stayed in her house in Elysium all day long and never really mingled with the others.

When I visited her, there was something off about her, she was sad. I knew she missed camp, and most of all Annabeth.

There was nothing I could do.

The day she found out she had been wiped from Annabeth's memories was agonizing. Even for me.

She cried and threw her head into her hands. "It was what I wished for. For her to be happy, and if she's happy without remembering me, then that's good."

And though she came to terms that that was how things had to be, she was still sad.

I couldn't take it so I decided to do something about it.

I walked into the throne room and approached my Dad. "Dad you need to do something about Piper."

He looked down at me and sighed, "There is nothing to do, Nico. She's dead. It's not like she's here against her will."

"Like Persephone." I muttered under my breath.

"What?" Hades asked.

I shot my head up, "Oh, nothing. Dad, we just have to do something! It's hard to see her like this!" I told him.

He put his hand on his face, looked to the left, then the right. I don't know what he was doing, but finally he sighed and said, "Fine. I need to speak to the others first."

And with that he was gone, already shadow traveling back to Olympus.

Hades POV
I really wanted Nico to like me, so I decided to go to Olympus to speak with the other gods and goddesses to see what they think.

Thank the gods we already had planned a meeting for that day, so I didn't have to wrangle them over there.

As we sat in our custom thrones and talked about the things we were going to discuss. Such as prophesies and Percy Jackson, and making sure Zeus didn't have any more offspring, and Percy Jackson, I decided to bring it up.

"Ahem." I cleared my throat. "My son Nico has asked me something that I'm willing to do but not without the consent of you all."

"Well what is it brother?" Zeus asked.

"He asked me if we could do something for the demigod Piper, Aphrodite's daughter. He says she misses her friends and is quite miserable in Elysium."

"I'd say she's only miserable in Elysium because of how you run it brother." Poseidon called out from his throne wearing ridiculous dolphin sunglasses.

I rolled my eyes, "She's only miserable because she doesn't have any family or friends in Elysium, brother."

"What do you propose we do?" This from Aphrodite, leaning forward in her throne eagerly, sadness for her daughter in her eyes.

"We could always bring her back from the dead. Let her go back to camp and her normal life. Course we'd have to alter some memories a little more." I offered.

"For what?" Athena asked.

"Like we did with Annabeth, wipe everyone's memories of Piper. Give her family new memories of her. Let Piper come back and relive the whole being a demigod thing. Have her go back to camp as a new camper."

"Would we wipe her memories?" Aphrodite asked.

"It would be the best choice." I said.

She nodded. "It's settled then?" I asked.

Zeus nodded. "You may do it brother. Meeting adjourned."

Soon all the gods and goddesses were gone, and I shadow traveled away.

Piper's POV
I was sitting on my couch watching some TV when there was a knock on my door.

Puzzled, I stood up to see who it was.

I opened the door and in walked Hades, God of the Underworld. He towered over me in his black robes and his majestic black mane flowed over his shoulders.

"Hades? What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I'm here to give you an offer, may I sit?"

"Um yeah. Offer?"

He sat down on a chair and faced me, still standing because I was too confused to sit down.

"I'm offering to bring you back from the dead. To let you go back to your life with your friends. To leave Elysium." He said this with a face that could have been chiseled from stone.

I knew he wasn't joking.

"What's the catch?" I asked, because he said it was an offer after all.

"The catch is, none of your friends will remember you, and you won't remember them. You will have new memories and go to camp as a new demigod and camper."

I sat down. It was a lot to process and I couldn't process it all at once.

"So?" Hades asked. "Once in a lifetime opportunity here. Er..well..it's a rare opportunity."

Without hesitation I said, "Yes. I'll do it."

"Great." He said. "Follow me." He got up and walked out the door.

I followed closely behind.
