Chapter Four

Erza's P.O.V.
I woke up, feeling like I got run over by a train. I sit up and look around the room at the worried faces. Natsu, Lucy, Yukino, and Gray are sitting down next to my bed in the infirmary. "W-what happened?" I rub my head. All attention turns to me. Lucy and Yukino jump up and down and hug me, Gray and Natsu let out a sigh of relief. "So...w-what happened?"

"That idiot Jellal got you." Natsu says, "although when you survived his attack, he seemed really impressed...to my surprise...he didn't try to...finish you." When he said that I quickly got up. My feet are too wobbly! I fell back on the ground.

"You need to rest," Gray picks me up and places me back on the bed, "your mother is out there, fighting on your behalf." The bed was soft and warm, but it doesn't distract me from worrying.

"Please, your highness, let us do the fighting." Yuikno walks to me and bows down. "Tomorrow will be a rest day, if we don't go to the forest, they can't attack our kingdom. It's a rule our ancestors made for both kingdoms. People from any other kingdoms must be invited here before they come."

Lucy walks to me and pulls the covers over my shivering body, "promise me you'll stay here, Erza? Please?"

"Ughhh," I lay down, groaning, "fffiiinnnneeee. I'm not gonna promise you tho." Lucy and Yukino laugh and leave the room. Gray and Natsu are about to leave the room when I say, "listen up," they turn around, "don't go after the prince, he's mine to take out." They nod and leave. I sigh, great...now I feel like a cowered... That's when I heard my name being called from outside.

Lucy's P.O.V.
Battle today was intense. Every battle will most likely be intense. I guess it's because we're all tired and we're both running out of uninjured army members. Good thing we have Queen Irene and Gildarts by our side. Even Natsu can't beat Gildarts, and he's E.N.D.

Yes that right, Natsu is E.N.D., Emperor Zeref's younger brother. Natsu's mother gave birth to him here and to Zeref in Fiore. Natsu stayed here while his brother ruled another kingdom, Alvarez Empire, along with the Spriggan 12. Queen Irene is a member of the Spriggan 12!

"Now open," I hold up Virgo's key, "the gate of the maiden, Virgo!" She appears out of no where. But where does she appear? Right under me. "VIRGO!" I blush, "CAN YOU WATCH WHERE YOU POP UP!?"

She pushes me off of her and jumps out of the hole she made, "will there be punishment?"

"For those people, yes!" I point at Jellal's army, "NOW! ATTACK!" I order. I take out my Fleuve d'ètiles and swing it at the enemy. I caught a girl in a fairy costume by the leg. She turns around and covers her face with her fan.

"My, my," she laughs, "what a reviling outfit." I look down at my outfit (the picture is up there) and back up at her. There is nothing wrong with this. It's flexible, strong, and super cute! "I wonder what it will look like once I finish with it." She giggles.

I frown, "that's no gonna happen!" I swing my fleuve d'ètiles at her. She quickly dodges and makes golden thorns rain down on me. I dodge and swing it at her again. I quickly take out Caner's key, "open gate of the giant crab, Cancer!" I quickly say. "Go get her, Cancer!"

"Yes, baby," he says, making his scissors appear. He tries to cut her hair but she quickly slips away. I try to catch her with my fleuve d'ètiles and catch her by the head. Cancer quickly gives her a bald haircut.

She froze, "MY HAIR!" She yells. She stares at me, "YOU'RE DEAD!" Cancer disappears. Great...I just made it worse. "FAIRY MACHINE GUN!" She yells, golden thorns falling down onto me, "HOW CAN YOU HANDLE TRIPLE!?" I try to dodge but they get me. She slowly walks to me, a big grin on her face. I was about to stand when I see scarlet hair run by. The girl that tried to hurt me was pinned up to a tree with swords around her.

"Erza...?" I look up at the scarlet haired Mage. She frowns at her and runs to her. She holds her sword to her neck, she began shaking in fear. Erza stares into her eyes and lowers her sword to her stomach.

She stabs her, killing her. "Did she hurt you?" She asks me. I look at all her wounds. They're gone!? "Garndeneey came to heal me. I'll be right here with you, my mother will go back to the palace."

"No I will not!" The big scarlet dragon exclaims, doing a mighty roar, "I WILL STAY AND FIGHT WITH MY KINGDOM!" She yells.

Third Person P.O.V.
Erza spots Jellal about to kill Elfman. She frowns and runs to him. Jellal was about to kill the wounded Elfman when a scarlet haired beauty blocks his attack with a sword, "go, Elfman."

"Thanks, princess." The monster gets up and runs away. Jellal and Erza stare at each other, Jellal confused how she's okay, and Erza confused that he has no wounds from yesterday.

"How are you all healed?" She lowers her sword and asks, "I remember hurting you quiet a lot yesterday, didn't I?"

"Yes you did," he lowered his hand, "Wendy Marvell healed me, how are you healed?"

Erza grins, "Wendy's mother healed me. They sky dragon Grandeneey." He frowns at
her as she grins.

They began to battle but they had smiles on their faces, they both couldn't help but smile. Jellal and Erza have never had a worth opponent before, that is until they met each other. "REQUIP!" Erza changes into her Fire Empress armor before he shoots a fire ball at her. She held up the sword from her Sea Empress armor, blowing out the flame.

"Impressive," Jellal says thoughtfully. They begin to fight the rest of the day, not caring what's happening around them. It came to the point where people from both kingdoms would get distracted at the amazing battle that never ended.

"FIRE DRAGON-" Natsu sucks the air. He cups his lips with his mouth, "ROAR!" He hurts many people.

The next day...
They've been fighting for two days straight, ignoring the plan of having a rest day. The two wouldn't stop, they wouldn't run out of magic energy, and they never stopped smiling. After they got tired, they separated. "Erza, that was awesome!" Yukino summons Libra (she's actually my zodiac sign) who kills many people.

Erza nods, trying to catch her breath, "he's strong...very strong. I think I'm going to take a rest." Erza walks to the peaceful part of the forest where the trees are still alive, flowers bloom. This place no one knows about except for her mother, her father, and her.

It's where her mother and father met. She walks through the forest, looking for a place to sit. Suddenly, she trips over someone. She gets up and looks at Jellal who was scratching a twig with his nails and was breathing heavily.

He stands up and holds his hand up, she makes a sword appear and points it at him. Erza drops the sword and slides her back down a tree far away from Jellal. Jellal sighs and sits down.

"You put up a great fight out there." Erza says, "why were you smiling the whole time?"

"You were smiling too, princess Erza." He places the twig down and breaks another off a tree. Erza ignored the fact that he's breaking the law by crossing the border between Fiore and Dragnof without permission. "I smiled because I never had such a worthy opponent. So why did you smile?"

Erza looks at him and back at her feet, "I guess I smiled for the same reason..."

"You can come closer, I don't pose a threat. I'm too tired to fight."

"It's not that I'm afraid, it's that I don't want to be near the enemy." Erza looks up at him. He looks up at her and smiles causing her to blush a little.

"I understand." He looks at his feet.
