Chapter Thirty-one (The End)

Wendy's P.O.V.
We slowly sneak into a room. Lisanna, Carla, and I are behind a big desk, trying not to get noticed by Princess Meredy. "There are humans from.. 'E-earth' here." One of the girls say. I stop and try to hear their conversation. Lisanna grabs my hand and begins crawling from the desk to another door.

"So I've heard," Meredy folds her hands and places them on top of the desk. "We need to get them out of here, somehow, someway. They are here for a reason, I have a feeling they want something." Carla hesitates to open the door. I grab the handle and turn it s l o w l y.

There, facing away from Meredy, is a big staff. The staff is like a fork but it's bejeweled. Carla smiles, "my mom didn't want it to be stolen by the exceeds so she brought it here." Meredy gets up. Lisanna grab the staff and runs past her, Meredy not noticing her.

"Who are you?" Meredy asks me afters he bowed down to Carla. Lisanna nods her head. I nod. She runs away. She's going to get the others, Meredy is no match for them.

Carla quickly grabs my hand and runs out of there. Meredy yells for her guards to catch us. Suddenly, wings appear on Carla's back. She grabs my collar and flies away. We look for Lisanna. When we found her, Carla dips down and grabs her too.

"Where are your friends!?" Carla asks out of breath.

"Let me go.." I look down at the guards. She stares at me as if I'm crazy. Lisanna smiles and doesn't say a thing. "Just trust me." She lets go. I grin, "SKY DRAGON ROAR!" I yell, wiping out many of the guards.

I'm a sky dragon slayer, I'll be fine. Carla smiles and flies down to me. "WENDY!" I hear Natsu. I turn around and see him. He grins. "ANOTHER FIGHT? I'M FIRED UP NOW!" He ignites his fists with fire, "Fire Dragon Iron Fist!"

"They're a rowdy bunch." Carla shakes her head as Lucy runs to Natsu, fallowed by the others. I glance at Erza and show her the staff in my hand. She smiles and nods.

"Yeah, that's everyone's first thought of us." Juvia giggles.

"ICE MAKE," Gray removes his shirt, Juvia squeals and faints. "HAMMER!" Carla blushes. I run to her as Jellal and Laxus wipe out the rest of the army. Lily walks to her and smiles.

"Your highness,"

"Lily?" She turns around, Happy looking at her with hearts in his eyes. "W-what're you doing here... With them I mean?"

"Well I lost a bet to this guy," Lily points back at Gajeel who is dancing happily. "It's nice to see a familiar face around here."

"Are you trying to steal her away from me?" Happy frowns. "I DECLARE A DUAL!"

"HAND IT OVER!" Meredy gets all of our attention. Jellal's eyes widen. She looks at him. "Brother, what is this?" She demands. Brother?

Jellal smirks. He slowly walks to her. "Sister, I must return to my original world. You see, I'm running out of magic being here." She raises an eyebrow. "I will miss you truly, but I have to go.."

"Fine then," she looks down and orders her men to stop. "I will miss you. I will fill in your throne when you're g-"

"STOP!" We hear another person. We turn around. Seigrain. "They're fake! They're the humans!"

"What?"

"Too late," Carla grabs the staff, holds it up, and says quickly, "earth, earth, earth, earth," everything seems to go in slow motion at this point. But we were out of Edolas.

Erza's P.O.V.
I look around. I look down at my bruised hands. Laxus breaths heavily and says, "we're home.." I sigh and slide down a tree. I open my eyes and look at the tree next to me. Jellal smiles and looks at me. It's funny, we met like this... I met my love here... In this place.
