Chapter Twenty-six

Gray's P.O.V.
No way... Erza is our enemy! Pretty Erza! Nice Erza! Princess Erza! The most shocking thing is that my counterpart is a part of Fairy Tail. What if this is the future? What if in the future, I'm in love with Juvia and Erza is evil?

I hope that doesn't happen. Who would want that to happen? Not me, that's for sure. I glance at Jellal, he has the same face expression I imagined he would. His face expression is twisted.

I glance at Natsu, he's in the corner, hugging his legs, and rocking back and forth as he mumbles something. Yeah, I'm pretty scared too. Lucy and Juvia are very uneasy, including Mirajane, Wendy, and Gajeel.

Laxus sighs and shakes his head, and Happy hangs his head in shame. "Excuse me," I walk to the Edolas version of Lucy. She seems to be the boss around here. "Do you know how to get to the royal palace? This is sad n' all but that's not why we're here."

"THE PALACE!?" She exclaims. Our Lucy sighs, knowing that more trouble is chasing after us. If we don't find trouble, it always finds us.

"Yes?" I say bluntly, "I didn't stutter."

"Gray, you're such a fiery, icy hunk!" Juvia yells with hearts in her eyes.

"Listen here," Edolas Gray sits down next to Juvia as she explains, "the last thing you want is going to the palace. You have the Fairy Tail emblem, right? They won't let you live, not at all. The king hates us, so does Ezra and Sting and Rogue and Lady Ultear and Princess Meredy-"

"WHAT!?" We all exclaim.

Edolas Juvia sighs and frowns, "I said: The King, Jellal, Ezra- captain of the first army warfare unit- Sting- captain of the second army warfare unit- Rogue- captain of the third army warfare unit- Lady Ultear- The King's sister's adopted daughter- and Princess Meredy- The King's sister."

No, this is definitely NOT the future... it can't be.

"We couldn't care less for those people." Laxus points out. He walks to Edolas Juvia, "now, either take us to our destination or we will be on our way."

"Don't forget we need to find the person who stole the jewel." Said Jellal. The Edolas Lisanna walks to him and looks down.

"Uh..." She stammers.

"Something wrong?" Mirajane smiles and places her hand on her sister's counterpart's shoulder. "You can tell us, Lisanna. You know, like here in Edolas, you were my sister back in Erathland... We were all friends, but you died before the war."

"I didn't die, Mirajane..." Her voice breaks. We all stare at her in shock. Mirajane's eyes begin to well up with tears. "I stole the jewel, made that book, and started the war."

Little Lisanna? No way....

"Y-you stole it?" Laxus asks in shock. "Mirajane's little sister?" She bites her bottom lip and nods. Natsu's hands begin to tremble. She told him she had feelings for him the day she "died". Mirajane drops to her knees and begins to cry.

She covers her face with her hands, Lucy and Wendy comforting her. "Wow, that's messed up..." Gajeel looks at the ground. Jellal smiles and looks up at Natsu and I. Tears run down my cheeks. I CAN'T HELP IT, OKAY!?

"LISANNNAAAA!!!!" Natsu and me run to her. She shrieks as we tackle her with a hug full of sobs, tears, and emotion. Wendy smiles as Mirajane runs and removes us off of Lisanna. She hugs her sister tightly.

"I missed y-you so much, L-Lisanna!" She sobs.

The Edolas version of Mirajane and Elfman walk to Lisanna. She turns around and hugs them, "I'm sorry, I should have told you sooner..." Lisanna sobs into the Edolas version of her sister's hair.

"It's okay, Lisanna," Edolas Elfman backs away, "we knew all along.. There was no way our Lisanna would come back to life. After all, you act nothing like her." Our Mirajane laughs.

"Thanks, big brother El." She hugs them then turns to us. I glance at Juvia, she looks back at me. We share a smile then look back at Lisanna, "I've missed you so much... All of you!"

"If you would be so kind," Jellal walks to her. She shrieks and bows down. He grabs her chin and makes her look up at him, "we need you to come back to Earthland. You're the only person who can stop this war, Lisanna."

Third Person P.O.V.
BACK IN EARTHLAND...

Erza's tears hit the marble ground as she bows down to her mother. "Why?" Irene looks at her nails then back at her daughter. "Why did you help the enemy? Why did you share such feeling with them? Why are you trying to end this war?"

"I-I'm so sorry..." Sobs Erza. The Spriggan 12, The Spriggan King, and Acnologia are all out in battle right now. After Acnologia had his drink, he went to fight the enemy whilst being drunk.

"Answer me, Erza." Irene says bluntly. She ignores Erza's tears and sobs. She was mad, very mad. You can tell. "I didn't ask for you to cry, stand up this instant." Erza wipes her tears and stands up straight. "Now, tell me, foolish child. Answer my questions! Why did I find you with that witch!?"

"I don't consider Mavis my enemy!" Erza snaps. Irene frowns as Erza continues, "you might not care, mother, but I do! Did you see Dragnof!? Fiore has torn it apart! Families have lost homes, people are getting killed, and more!"

"I do care!" Irene stands up. She is wearing a long, strapless, white dress that shows her cleavage and has rubies at the bottom. "If they have torn our kingdom apart, why don't you want to win this war!?"

"B-because..." Erza stammers. She knows if she talks back to her mother, it won't be good. But that doesn't matter right now. "Because Fiore has innocent people too!" She screams, "I want to stop this war! I hate this war! I used to love to fight and such, but right now, peace is the true answer!"

"Enough of your blubbering!" Irene demands.

"I hate this war! I'm going to stop it, and I'll do it with Jellal and the rest of my friends!" Erza yells. Irene looks shocked. Erza stops and tries to process in the words she spat out without thinking. "Oh, no..."

"YOU'VE BEEN WORKING WITH THE ENEMY AND NATSU AND THE OTHERS WERE IN ON IT!?" Irene exclaims. Erza places her hand on her mouth, "that's it," Irene sits down, "I can't believe it... What happened to you?"

"Mother..." Erza looks down.

"You leave me no choice." Irene looks down at the floor and sighs. She looks back at Erza, "Go to your chambers. You're not allowed to leave, see your friends, or fight. No food for the next month, understood?"

"Understood,"

"Go." Irene shoos her daughter away in disgust. Erza hangs her head and begins walking to her chambers. "you should be glad I'm nice. The law states that if a member of the royal family is not loyal, the Queen or King shall have their head."

Erza stops and looks up at her mom. "I might die...?"
