Chapter Thirty

Lucy's P.O.V.
We run down the hall when we hear a dragon's roar. We stop, Natsu and Gajeel glance at each other. A big cat named Pantherlily came with us. From what he told us, he lost to Gajeel and then became his pet just like Natsu and Happy. "W-what was that?" I ask in fear.

"A dragon," Natsu begins to run. I look over at Mirajane. She nods, telling me that we should fallow. I sigh. I'm going to regret this. I look at Natsu and begin to run after him. "Why would there be a dragon in Edolas?"

"Natsu!" I call to him. I hold my hand out to reach for him and begin breathing heavily, "wait up!" He stops. I run to him and stare at him. "I'm so tired.." I laugh and shake my head. He slowly lifts his hand up, its trembling. I follow where his finger is pointing at and find myself staring at a GAINT scarlet dragon with someone who looks like Jellal under it's paw.

It roars, breaking windows, cracking the ground and walls. "WHAT THE HELL IS THAT!?" Gajeel says. The dragon turns to him and spreads its wings out. It roars again, getting spit all over us. "wait.. Don't it remind you of Erza?"

"It is Erza," Jellal walks to us, Laxus behind him. Natsu and Gajeel's jaws drop. I stiffen in surprise. No way, in heaven or hell, that's Erza! "She's out of control."

"ERZA'S A DRAGON!?" Mirajane, Natsu, Gray, Gajeel, Juvia, and I exclaim.

This isn't good, she is outta control. She swings her paw at us, he nails are shaper than a regular dragon! SHIT! I quickly take out Aries' key. "Open, gate of the Lamb, Aries!" She quickly pops up and makes a pink cloud, getting Erza's paw stuck. Erza roars. "I think I just made it worse!"

"Thanks a lot, Luce!"Gray rolls his eyes.

"WELL EXCUSE ME FOR TRYING TO HELP!" I yell at him. Jellal backs away as if afraid of something. I turn my head to look at him, "Jellal, what do we do?" He seems hopeless. I've never seen him like this. But I know that look in his eyes. "Run?"

"Run," he nods. Erza roars and hits Aries out of the way. I scream for Aries but nothing comes out. It is a blur. Natsu runs up Erza's back to get her to her senses, Laxus runs after him but gets hit into the wall by Erza, Jellal helps him up, Mirajane hugs Juvia as she cries, Juvia screams as Gray gets thrown, and I just stand there.

For some reason I can't move. It's like I'm too scared to do anything. Mirajane yells at Erza only to get picked up and thrown at the wall. Erza opens her jaw and gets ready to attack. Mira stares at the ground in defeat. Jellal runs in front of Mirajane, Gajeel tries to protect him, Laxus runs in front of Gajeel, Natsu, Happy, then Gray, Juvia cries and runs in front of him, but I just can't move.

What am I doing?

Why can't I move?

Why can't I talk?

"LUCY!" Gray yells, snapping me out of it. I shake my head and look up. Oh no. My face is inches away from Erza's. Erza as a dragon. I scream as she opens her jaw, ready to devour me. I hold my head in fear and squat. Is this the end?

Natsu's P.O.V.
"She'll be fine," I smile. Lucy, for some odd reason, fainted after she saw Erza as a big dragon. Erza shakes her head. "It ain't your fault, Erza, she was just a little scared, that's all." Lucy slowly opens her eyes. She places her hand on her head and moans in pain.

"Finally," Gray rolls his eyes. Juvia sighs and let's her roll off her lap. Lucy looks up at Erza and screams. She backs away. I glance at Erza, she's not happy. Hehe. This isn't good. "It's fine, it was just a dream or whatever." He places his hand on his head and stands up.

"Darling, your clothes?" Juvia points at his boxers and shakes her head. He screams like a little girl. Same old Gray, same old stripping habit. I shake my head and laugh. He raises his hand to slap me, I raise my fist getting ready for the fight. Erza walks in the middle of us and gives us "the look".

"You saw what I could do there right? Wouldn't it be a great punishment for when the two of you begin acting like children?" Erza asks. Gray and me hug and scream. "This is going to be fun, isn't it?"

Juvia smiles, "thank you, Erza-San."

"Let's get moving," Erza holds out her hand to help Lucy up. Lucy looks up at her and smiles. She stands up and hugs her. "W-wow.." Erza hesitantly hugs her back. Jellal lets out a chuckle before turning around and beginning to walk down the hallway.

Lucy let's go of Erza and begin to walk down the hallway too. Here we go! "OH YEAH," I run after them, "I'm fired up now!"

Wendy's P.O.V.
I look around. Lisanna places a hand on her hip and shakes her head. "Yup, were lost-" suddenly, we hear footsteps coming from the other end of the hallway. I look up at her and she looks down at me.

I slowly walk to the end of the hall and peek at who it is. I gasp. A little white cat with a skirt, a shirt, and a bow tied to her tail is walking around. "I swear, if he doesn't get here I'll tell my mother to kill him!" She walks around impatiently.

"No!" Lisanna whisper-yells, "she's the queens daughter, her name is Carla." I smile and walk out. Lisanna grabs my wrist. "Wendy, you can't go talk to her, she's evil, impatient, rude, ugh!"

"She's still an exceed. We need to get the staff, maybe she'll take us to it?" I begin to walk to her. Lisanna face palms herself and walks after me. "Excuse me," I look down at the little cat and ask as politely as possible, "how do we get to Exceed Island?"

She turns around and folds her paws, "who're you? Do you know who you're talking to, peasant?" I look back at Lisanna. She was right, this one is mean. I look back at the one named Carla, shrug, and shake my head. "I am the daughter of the Queen of Exceeds!"

"Yes, I know that." I stand up straight and tall, "and I am Wendy Marvell, daughter of the almighty dragon Grandeeny." Carla raises her eyebrow. "We come from a different world, looking for a person who started a war and was said to be here by Titania. We found them but need your mom's staff so we can return home. If you would be so kind as to hand it over,"

"Uh, let me think about it," she says thoughtfully. She's not bad. "No," I take that back. "I don't have to do anything you say. How am I even supposed to know you're not lying, peasant?"

"We have unlimited magic power!" I tell her.

"Only King Seigrain has unlimited magic power, he calls himself Jellal for some odd reason. And what do you mean by we? I know this girl here doesn't have unlimited magic like the King and the Exceeds, so what do you mean by 'we'?" She demands.

"Lisanna is from Earthalnd," When I said Earthland, I couldn't help but notice her to be surprised. "She started the war but ran away and came here. I came here with Natsu Dragneel, Gray Fullbuster, Lucy Heartfilia, Juvia Lockser, Erza Scarlet, Jellal Fernandes, Laxus Dreyar, Gajeel Redfox, Meredy Milkovich, Happy, Sting, and Rogue."

"All of you came here... From earth you say?" Her voice softens. I nod. "O-oh.. What's it like in this... Earth of yours? Do all humans have magic? Are there Exceeds there?" I gasp. She's interested in our world?

"Actually, everyone-demons, gods and goddesses, humans, and other-has magic. Our magic energy comes form meditating, feelings, and the earth itself. A exceed actually came with us." I said. She looks down. "The stronger your feeling are, the stronger you are."

"Feelings, huh?" She looks up at me. "Wendy, I am very interested in this world of yours. I've been here for too long, I hate it here." she holds out her paw, "I have a deal," I smile, "take me to this earth of yours, take care of me, feed me, give me shelter, and I will get you the staff. Deal?"

I look back at Lisanna, just making sure that's it's okay. After all, Gajeel has a pet now, so does Natsu... Maybe I can make Carla my pet... Or my friend, my family. Lisanna nods. I turn to Carla, spotting my friends running to us from behind her.

I shake her paw and nod once, "deal,"
