Chapter Six

Erza's P.O.V.
Going into war the next day, I don't hold back. I swing my sword, killing many of the enemy. That's when I find myself battling a man with a smirk on his face, "so you're Titania?" He laughs, "you're a beauty. I almost feel bad for hurting you." I frown and Requip into my Knight armor. I run to him and punch him down. I stand on top of his body, swords appearing around me. I stare into his eyes and slowly lower my sword. I stab his chest and jump off of him.

That's when I see it...him...them... Natsu punches the back of Jellal's head. They're fighting!? Jellal frowns and turns around. Good luck, Natsu. I sprint after others.

Third Person P.O.V.
Natsu approaches the prince. He punches the back of Jellal's head. Jellal freezes, places his hand on the back of his head, and looks at it, "w-why am I bleeding?" He turns around and sees Natsu. Natsu has a deathly frown on his face, "you..."

"You made her cry." He said, his voice trembling with anger. Jellal stares at Natsu in confusion, "you made her cry." Natsu punches him again. Fire ignites his fists, he goes in for a punch. Jellal quickly grabs his wrist, stopping him.

"Who did I make cry?" Jellal jumps back. Natsu grits his teeth, did he seriously ask that? Natsu thought.

"Erza..." Natsu shakily points at Erza. She slashes her sword at the enemy, "you made Erza cry..." Jellal's eyes widen. "And that's why," Natus slowly walks to Jellal, "IM GOING TO END YOU!" Natsu begins to run to him. He punches him but Jellal blocks it.  "FIRE DRAGON TOLERANT!" He kicks Jellal in the face. Natsu kicks Jellal in the face twice. He punches him in the face. "FIRE DRAGON WING ATTACK!" He sends Jellal flying back. "FIRE DRAGON TOLERANT!" He kicks. Jellal flew into a tree. Natsu cupped his lips with his hands, "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!"

You can see Jellal sellout in the fire. He cut threw the spell, not a scratch on him. "Is that the best you can do?" He grins.

"ILL SHOW YOU!" Natsu runs to him.

"Meteor!" Jellal flies up. He flies behind Natsu, punching him. He flies to Natsu's right, punching him again. He flies up and back down, punching Natsu in the face. Natsu tried to punch back but Jellal dodges. Jellal kicks him in the face.

Natsu falls down, "he's fast," Natsu stands up and runs after him, "but no matter how fast you are, I'll get you!" He punches only to miss. 

Jellal flies up behind him, "you should be happy that you got your hits in because it won't happen again!" He punches and punches at Natsu. He flies up and does a stance, "may the seven stars bring judgment upon you!" A constellation began forming around him, "GRAND CHARIOT!"

Natsu looks up at the light, knowing there's no way of dodging or blocking it. He gets zapped and falls down. Jellal flies down and looks at his body, "it's a wonder his body is still in one piece. That spell holds as much power as a falling meteor."

He turns around, ready to leave when little fireballs shoot at him. Jellal stares at Natsu in shock as Natsu stands up, "I'm going to win." His teeth began turning into fangs, "I'm going to end you." Wings grew on his back, half of his face turns into scales, his nails grow bigger, and he becomes different all together. "Even if it means I have to use E.N.D."

Jellal frowns and tries to punch Natsu. Natsu quickly dodges and grabs Jellal's wrist. He swings him and throws him at a tree. "FIRE DRAGON ROAR!" This time, the fire from his roar was four times bigger then the regular one.

Jellal stands up, Natsu flies to him. He scratches his face, kicks him into the air, jumps up and punches him down, and so on.Once Jellal was cornered, Natsu grins and turns back to normal. He holds up a dagger, ready to hurt him when he felt someone place their hand on his shoulder. He turns around to see a scarlet haired beauty. She has a sad expression on her face. "Natsu, he didn't make me cry." Natsu's eyes widened, "he helped us. He told me that his kingdom are planing to fire a canon."

"What?" Natsu stares at him, "y-you mean...he tried to help us?" Erza nods. Natsu smiles and drops the dagger, "I guess I got carried away. Thanks, Jellal." The blue haired wizard smiles.

Erza's P.O.V
I know Jellal is the enemy and I should have let Natsu kill him, but Jellal told us one of their secrets. I don't really know why, maybe he is kind after all. Don't get ahead of yourself, Erza. That night, I didn't sleep. I stay awake, waiting for them to fire Jupiter.

At night, nothing happened. Maybe Jellal convinced King Mokorov not to fire the canon? No, can't be. I sit at the dinner table, still looking outside. "What's worrying you, Erza?" Lucy looks up at me from her food, "today we won't be battling."

"Y-yes...but that's not what worries me." I glare at Natsu who isn't eating. He's just looking at his feet, thinking about yesterday probably. "Jellal informed me that his grandfather is planning to fire a canon."

Mother almost chocks on her food. She swallows and begins coughing, "that fool is going to do what!?"

"Today." I walk to the door. I open it and look outside, "he will fire it today."

"What will we do?" Gray grabs a cup of juice. He chugs it down and places the empty cup on the table, "you just told this to us now."

I shake my head, "I-I'm sorry... That's a mistake on my behalf." I look down at my feet. Mother frowns, stands up, walks to me, and slaps me across the face. The room went silent.

"You idiot." She whispers. "Not only will the kingdom go down, we'll go down with it. You should have told me, Erza, why didn't you tell me?"

"I-I don't know." I places my hand on my cheek where she slapped me. That's when I see it. An enormous magic circle. I point at it and gulp. My friends gasp and stare at it. That's when people began talking.

"What is that?"

"Is it from Fiore?"

"Will it hurt us?"

"Where's the princess when you need her?"

"Those heartless beasts!"

"I bet Fiore did this."

"Yeah, me too."

"Mommy, they're not trying to hurt us are they?" A little kid hugs his scared mother.

"N-no...the princess and her friends will stop them..." She shakes.

I bite my lip. If I let it fire, this will get worse... A beam of light begins or form inside of the magic circle. If I'm going to save the kingdom, I have to go with my gut. "REQUIP!" I change into my Adamantine Armor. I run to the magic circle.

"ERZA!" My mother tries to run after me but Lucy grabs her, "COME BACK!"

"ERZA!" Natsu yells, about to run after me. Gray holds him back.

"Princess...." Yukino places her hand on her mouth. She sees people running to me. She runs in front of them and holds her arms out, "BACK AWAY!" She orders.

"STAND BACK!" I smash the two pieces of my shield together, causing a big magic circle to appear. The beam shoots out at me, the magic circle in its way.

"ERZA!" My mother cries. As much as I want to hug her right now, I can't. Almost there... I think as the beam becomes smaller and smaller. My armor and shield begin to breaking.

"I did it..." The beam disappears. I slowly fall backwards. I hear someone run to me and grab me. I look up at Natsu and my crying mother, "I-I did it..."

"Y-you idiot." Tears run down my mother's cheeks.

Jellal's P.O.V.
please, don't let it fire. Please don't let it fire. Please don't let it fire... "W-why is Dragnof unharmed?" My grandfather and the rest of the army, including my friends, look through the camera on the canon.

"Turn it back." Laxus stands up straight and folds his arms.

I walk to the screen and turn it back. In the bottom middle is a scarlet haired woman, holding a large shield. "Erza..." I whisper, "she actually stopped it.."
