. . . Where am I?

The first thing I see when I wake up is a stone ceiling. My back felt cold and I found out that I was resting on a bed shaped stone platform.

Also, why am I naked? Well, I'm not completely naked but the only thing I was currently wearing was a bundle of leaves put together that covered my lower body.

It was only about down close to my knees but the funny thing, it doesn't bother me. I thought I would get all sorts of itchy feelings in my private area but I haven't.

I got off the bed pedestal and looked around the stone room I was currently in. The entire room was empty.

There was nothing but stone walls beside that stone pedestal. This is really weird.

"Where the heck am I?"

Huh?! Why does my voice sound so child-like?

I looked at my hands and saw that they were the hands of a teenager. Hang on, I'm thirty-four years old!

Why do I have a child's hands? Wait, if my hands are that of a child then doesn't that mean . . .!

I need a mirror! I looked around the room but like before, there was nothing.

Damn it, I need to see myself to find out what's going on!

I turned around and saw a wooden door so I went up to it and tried to open it. It's locked.

Seriously?! Give me a break!

Great, I can't leave this room and I might be a kid. What else could go wrong?

I really shouldn't have said that because just then, the door slammed opened and I saw a furry creature in front of me. It was big, had brown fur, and it resembled an animal I'm the most familiar with.

"A bear?!" I yelped in my childish voice.

You gotta be kidding me! I don't know where I am and now I'm gonna die by a freaking bear?!

I'm so screwed!

"Hello there." The bear spoke to me.

. . . Huh?

Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait! It's a talking bear?!

I think I'm gonna pass out from this.

"Is everything alright? You look kind of pale, sir." The bear asked me in concern.

Of course, I'm pale! I'm about to get eaten by a talking bear!

I gotta find a way out of here! I looked around but the only escape route is behind that bear.

I'm dead. Yep, this is the end for me.

It was fun while it lasted. I guess I'll be seeing my family pretty soon.

All I could do was close my eyes and wait for the bear in front of me to eat me. Please don't be so painful.

I waited a few seconds and nothing happened.

"Um, sir, why are you closing your eyes for?" The talking bear asked me.

"Y-you're not gonna eat me?" I managed to ask it.

"Goodness, no! Why would you think that?" The bear looked offended when I asked him that.

Wait, so he's not going to eat me? I should feel relieved but I'm still shaking.

"W-who are you?" I asked it.

"My apologies, I forgot to introduce myself." The bear felt embarrassed. "My name is Kuma and I'm the watcher of the Grand Forest."
