"Are we there yet?"
"No, not yet."
" . . . How 'bout now?"
"It's only been five seconds. I don't think we can make that much distance in that short amount of time."
"Then how long are we going to walk?"
"I'm not sure. The Villager chief told us that the closest city is about three days from here. We'll be encountering a few towns, so we'll settle down when we get to one."
Dove then started to mope, whining about how long it's taking us to get to the nearest city.
It's been about a day and a half since we got out of the forest. We were able to come across a village and stay the night.
When we were about to recommence our journey to the city, I asked the Village Chief how far was the nearest city. That's when he told me it was a three days journey from here.
He also notified us that we were going to encounter a couple of towns on our way to the city. Knowing that the City was a three days trip, Dove and I both decided to spend the night at one of the towns.
"Hey, Ayato."
"What's up, Dove?"
"How come you're wearing those clothes?"
When Dove asked me this, I looked at my current clothing attire. I wasn't in my Terra costume like I usually was.
"You don't like it?" I asked her.
"No, I didn't say that. But, it is weird to see you in those clothes."
"Well, I didn't want to wear the outfit all the time, so I decided to change costumes," I explained to her.
What I was wearing was typical village clothing. I had a light brown tunic, black pants, and black boots.
I also had a belt that had a sword strapped to it. The sword was unnecessary since I had my bow and sword, but it would be a good cover for now.
The reason I was wearing these clothes was so that no one would recognize me as Terra. Plus, I was getting tired of walking around in that outfit all the time.
"Seriously, how long is this going to take?" Dove groaned.
"It's only been about five minutes, Dove."
"Are you kidding me? It feels like we've been walking for hours!"
She's just like a little kid on a road trip. I'm starting to want to get to the nearest city, so she would stop complaining.
"Can't you just fly us there?" Dove asked me.
"Unfortunately, I can't. I can only handle a few of my animal abilities, and the ability to fly wasn't one of them."
Dove then lowered her head in despair.
It would be nice to be able to fly, but I can't at the moment. It's all thanks to that Evolution System.
Since I'm at Rank One, I can only use two or three animal abilities.
The abilities I have was [Strength Of The Mighty Bear], [Keen Smell Of The Blood-Hound], and [Heightened Hearing Of The Elephant]. These three abilities have been extremely beneficial for me.
With [Strength Of The Mighty Bear], I was strong enough to toss a hundred to two-hundred-pound man a few meters with ease. Unfortunately, I'm still getting used to the amount of power I use.
When I first tested out this ability, I broke down a tree in one-punch.
