Third Person PoV
Hermione and Celestia sat next to each other during charms. Hermione and Celestia we're talking about their pairings.
"I can't believe I was put with another girl. My soulmate is Loony Lovegood. I can't. I just can't." Celestia said, silencing her bird and frog at the same time.
"Luna? You're lucky you got someone you actually like. I got put with the worst person in the world!" Hermione said, also silencing her bird and frog.
"Yeah, I guess yours is worse." Celestia said, smiling. Hermione punched her playfully. Celestia and her laughed.
"Good job Ms. Riddle and Ms. Granger. Five points each." Flitwick said. Hermione have Celestia a high-five.
"You two may leave for the day, no homework," Flitwick said. They nodded and headed out to their dorm.
"At least we have each other," Hermione said. Celestia nodded and smiled.
"I have to go to the library. Luna wanted to study, so I guess I have to go." Celestia said, sighing.
"At least you could fall in love with her if you tried. I couldn't fall in love with Malfoy if it meant that the world ended (oh Hermione, how you're so very wrong)." Hermione said. They laughed and Celestia headed over to the library, waving to Hermione as she headed off.
Hermione sighed as she headed back to the dorm. She felt tired and layed down on her twin bed, falling asleep almost instantly.
Hermione's PoV
I heard someone as they tried to wake me up.
"Granger. Granger! Wake up! Blaise, come here, and grab Weaslette." I heard them say. Malfoy.
"HERMIONE JEAN GRANGER!! GET UP THIS MINUTE!!" I heard Ginny yell. I jumped out of bed, hitting my head on the nightstand. I moaned with pain.
"Ginny!" I said. She helped me up and healed me.
"Thanks." I said, annoyed.
"That's what you get for sleeping." Ginny said.
"Is it lunch? Or is it dinner?" I asked.
"Dinner. You fell asleep after lunch." She said. I groaned.
"Sorry, but you need food. I wasn't going to let you starve." Malfoy said. I looked questioningly at him. He shrugged.
"Do you, care, about me?" I asked, almost laughing. Malfoy looked shocked.
"Me? Fall for you? No, Granger. I just think that no one should starve." He said. I laughed.
"You doubt my honesty?" He asked, affended.
"I do, actually." I said. We death glared each other. Blaise and Ginny laughed simultaneously. I gave her a questioning look.
"Well, Blaise and I are," she held up a ring. "Engaged!" She said, happily.
"What?" I asked, flabbergasted.
"Yeah. We realized we love each other. Pretty romantic really." She said.
"Tell me imeddiatly." I said.
"Well. We were having an argument, then he pushed me up against the wall. . . "
Flashback
"YOU IDIOT!! I CAN'T BELIEVE MY SOULMATE IS A F***ING IDIOT!! JUST STAY AWAY FROM ME BECAUSE I WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH --" She yelled. She was cut off by Blaise pushing her up against the wall of their room and kissing her furiously. To her surprise, she kissed back with just as much fury. Blaise pulled away, rubbing the back of his neck.
"I'm sorry for being an idiot and pushing you up against the wall so I could kiss you." Blaise said. Ginny touched her lips then ran back at him, kissing him again. Blaise was surprised, but didn't stop her. In fact, they were kissing for a couple minutes before they broke apart. Ginny blushed brighter than her hair, as did Blaise.
End flashback
"Well, that is interesting. Cool." I said. I started laughing heading out of the room.
*** Celestia's PoV
I stood outside of their room, watching and listening. I had gotten a letter earlier today to contact one of my other friends to make sure Draco and Hermione do not fall for each other. I guess I have to work harder now that they've seen how happy a couple Blaise and Ginny are. I snuck out, ready to contact a certain 'friend'.
