Luke's POV
I pulled and pushed but the door still wouldn't move an inch. It seemed as if it wanted to keep me in, as if it wanted to lock me in here. With whatever was here.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, two arms wrapped around me. I screamed, until my mouth got covered.
"Easy," Rachel said, shushing me while rocking me slowly. "It's okay, Luke."
I pulled her arms away and turned around, facing her. "Where were you?!"
"Keep it down." She whispered, making me realize it was actually nighttime now. Why didn't mom or dad hear me scream?
"Where were you?!" I repeated.
"In there," Rachel motioned to the bathroom. "I told you."
I looked around, seeing the lights on. This room looked less scary now than before. But, what happened to me?
"Is everything ok?" Rachel seemed very worried.
I looked at her. "I... I think I was in my own head."
She gave me a look.
"I remember turning on the lights and then you were gone." I looked down, burying my face in my hands. "What is going on?"
Rachel sighed. "I think you're tired."
"I'm not," I looked around. "Something isn't right, Rachel."
She nodded. She backed off and walked around the room again. "I found nothing. Nothing's out of place, nothing's added or gone." She looked back at me. "Willow didn't come here."
"Or she's good at erasing her trail."
Rachel nodded. "That's possible."
I looked at the window. "Why is that open?"
Rachel looked at it. "I thought you did that."
I slowly shook my head. "Last time we were here, I closed it. Because it was open then." I let out a breath. "Can we go, please?"
Rachel looked from me to the window. She slowly walked to it and looked outside. She then closed the window. "Nice view."
I felt for the door handle behind me. I took it in my hands and pulled at the door, it opened now. I walked backwards, out of the room, and kept my eyes on Rachel. I didn't want to get in my head again.
When Rachel was out of the room, she turned off the lights and closed the door. She then looked at me. "Will you be ok?"
I gulped. "I don't know."
She looked at the stairs for a bit before looking at me. "Come," She took my hand and led us to my room. "Lie down."
I did as she said, already relaxing since this was my room.
She put the sheets on me. "There you go." She smiled.
"Thank you."
She got up and left, not even turning off the lights of my room.
I sighed, realizing I'd have to get up to do that... But I'll do that in a few minutes, I'm good here. I have to relax some more before actually being in the dark again.
Suddenly my bedroom-door opened again, revealing Rachel with an extra sheet and pillow. She put them next to my bed and laid down. "There."
"Are you staying in my room?"
She nodded. "Whatever happened in that room, you're pretty worked up about it."
"Thanks."
She smiled. "Let's get some sleep." She pulled up her sheets, nuzzling into them. "Goodnight, Luke."
"Goodnight, Rach."

The next day, Rachel and I decided to go back to school. Mainly because mom and dad kind of pressured us to do it. They thought it'd be better for us, to go back to our normal routine.
To me, it felt like they wanted us to forget about what had happened. They wanted to move on. They were ready to move on.
But that doesn't mean we are ready.
"Hey," I smiled at Rachel as she came downstairs. She had just finished getting dressed. "Are you ready?"
She slowly nodded. "I guess."
"It'll be good for you two." Mom once again reassured us.
"We'll see." Rachel looked from my mom to me. "Let's go."
And so we walked outside and to my car. We both got in and drove to school.
"Would we find clues about Willow at school?"
I looked at Rachel. "Maybe..." I thought about it, Blair did say she had lunch with Willow during school days... "We know she was at school during lunch breaks."
Rachel slowly nodded. "Someone must've seen something."
"I hope so."
We soon arrived at school, we got out of the car and stood in front of the building. We were so not ready for this, it was too early. That, combined with the looks people will give us... I wonder if they knew. They must.
We entered the building, and indeed people were looking.
"I'll see you during lunch." Rachel said before walking away.
I nodded and walked to my locker. I felt people look at me, I didn't even have to check it. I wonder what they know. They must've heard about the ambulance at least, and since Blair's not doing well and that's known... Maybe they put one and one together.
"Hey Lukey." Nick patted my shoulder as he and our friends surrounded me. This was good, I felt protected from the glances. "How are things?"
I looked at him, I wonder if he's indirectly asking about our situation at home... "We'll be fine."
He motioned me to follow him, so I did. We walked around the hallways, our friends behind us. "How's Blair?" He asked quietly. It was clear he didn't want other people to hear anything about this subject.
I stopped walking. "Why are you asking?"
Nick and my friends all looked at me, they seemed confused. "We heard about the ambulance in front of your house."
"And so you guess it's about Blair?" I crossed my arms.
Nick gave me a look. "Are we wrong to assume that?"
I looked away.
"What happened, Luke?"
I looked at them. "It's nothing."
Nick motioned something to our friends before wrapping his arm around my shoulders, he led me away from the people. "You know I'm here for you, right?"
I nodded.
"I know something happened with Blair." He paused. We stopped at a more quiet place. "Where is Blair now?"
I let out a breath. "She's stable now."
"So she is at the hospital?"
I nodded.
"What happened?" He looked so worried then.
I gulped, looking down. "She..." I looked back up, seeing my friends again. "Where did you all come from?" I thought Nick sent them away...
"We're worried about you, Luke." One of them said, which actually made me smile.
"What happened?" Nick repeated.
"Blair tried committing suicide." I gulped. "She hung herself. Thankfully Rach and I found her, we called 911 and now she's at the hospital." I looked back up at them, they all looked devastated by the news.
"I hope she'll make it through." One of them said, to which others nodded. Nick was very quiet, he seemed in deep thoughts.
"Hey guys," They all looked at me. "I need your help."
"What can we do for you?"
I sighed. "I need to find Willow."
