Rachel's POV
"Who here talked to her?"
Only a few hands went in the air, including the girl I was suspecting of being Willow. Maybe I've got the real Willow here...
After that question I let all the other girls go, they didn't talk to Blair anyway. The 4 girls that were left, came closer. They didn't really look similar.
"Luke?" I motioned him to come closer to me, which he did. "Stand here."
"Why?" he asked but did it anyway.
I motioned to the first girl. "Ok, so Luke is about the same height as Blair is. And I know that the girl is supposed to be the same height as well."
We tried every girl next to Luke. And two of them got sent back to their class.
"So what now?" Luke asked as we both looked at the two girls.
I looked at them. "What was the last thing you talked about with Blair? And where was this?"
"In class." One of them said. "I asked for a pencil."
The other girl nodded. "Same, we did a project together." My primary suspect said.
I nodded slowly. "And did any of you two talk to Blair in the school's garden?"
"No," One girl said. "I don't really go there."
"Why not?"
"Why would I? It's disgusting there."
I let out a breath and looked at my suspect. "What about you?"
She looked from me to Luke, then back to me. "I did."
I looked at Luke, giving him a look. "Guys, do you bring this lovely girl back?" Luke helped the other girl get up and led her to one of his friends. He then came back.
"So," I started as Luke, and even Nick, came to sit down next to me. "You spoke to Blair in the garden?"
She nodded, she kept making eye contact, she wasn't shy. She could easily be Willow.
"And when was this?"
"Pff..." She seemed to think for a bit. "I don't remember the exact date."
"What period?" Luke added.
"Last time, it was during lunch." She eyed us all. "Why? Did I do something wrong?"
I looked at Luke, I think we were both thrilled with this.
"We've been looking for the girl I've seen with Blair that time in the garden. Because Blair told me she'd meet up with Willow." I stopped and looked at her face, but I got nothing. "And since I saw you there, with her..."
"We're guessing she must have talked about you." Luke, once again, added.
The girl shook her head, she seemed confused. "My name's not Willow, I'm Tina."
"Maybe she called you Willow?" Luke tried.
"I don't even know her that well. We just met up there because I had to return her notes." She looked at us all. "I'm sorry, but I'm not the one you're looking."
We all let out a breath, but decided to let Tina go.
After that, we just sat there, on the bleachers. I think we were all upset, we failed, once again. Why is nothing going well?
Luke groaned. "I really thought we were onto something."
"I think everyone thought that, Luke." Nick patted Luke's shoulders. "At least we know now."
I looked at Nick. "What do we know, Nick?" I was curious to hear this.
"Well, Willow clearly didn't exist."
I shook my head. "I can't believe the only solid proof I had, was nothing." I buried my face in my hands. "I'm so disappointed."
"We'll find something else." Luke smiled at me.
"I hope so."
"Of course." Luke got up, he motioned me to come as well. "We'll see you guys later, thanks for the help."
We walked through the hallways. We should be in class, yet here we were, not minding anything. "How can you be so positive? Even after our failure."
He looked at me. "I believe in my sister, I know something else is going on and I'm not letting those minor bumps get to me."
"Those minor bumps were supposed to be solid proof, Luke."
He slowly nodded. "We'll find something else."
"I guess."
We were walking through the hallway with our lockers. We made our way to Blair's locker. "I can't wait until she's back here." I went over her locker with my hand. The horrible sentence, that once was on there, was still slightly visible.
"Me either."
"I wonder who did this to her." I looked at Luke, seeing him look upset. "She didn't deserve that. She didn't do anything."
Luke nodded. "I wish I knew more as well."
I let out a breath, then I groaned. "I'm so upset we have nothing."
"We'll find something."
"Where? What?" I sighed. "Why hasn't anyone seen anything?"
"Maybe we haven't looked in the right spot yet." Luke looked apologetic at me before looking behind me.
I looked as well and saw Tina, again.
"Tina?"
She looked left and right, and then walked to us. "Why did you ask us all about Blair, is she alright?"
I looked from her to Luke. I think we were both seeing that this girl was something more than 'just someone' to Blair.
"We're looking for Willow, because she has to help us with Blair." Luke replied honestly. "She's our only hope."
"And what does she look like?"
"Tina," I had to say it, I couldn't contain my curiosity. "Why are you so worried all of the sudden?"
She let out a breath. "I liked her," She looked down. "She was nice to me."
I looked at Luke, I think neither of us trusted this. Why did she change her mood all of the sudden?
"You and Blair were friends?"
Tina looked away, she seemed... Uncomfortable?
"Tina?"
She nodded.
"How? Blair never talked about you." Luke said to which I nodded. "Why haven't we met you before?"
Once again she looked away awkwardly. "Just tell me when I can help." She handed me a card and then left in a hurry.
I looked at Luke. "Tell me I'm not the only one who thought that was weird."
Luke shook his head. "That was very weird." He then looked at me. "What's on the card?"
I looked at it. "Her phone number."
