Rachel's POV

I can't believe I'm doing this... Here I was, during lunch break, breaking in into Luke's house and then stealing Blair's phone. What had life come to?

I sighed deeply while I looked for Blair's phone in the drawer I had seen Luke taking it out off. And thankfully it was still in there.

I took it out and then held it in my hand, I looked at it for a while. Blair had held this the day she died. She had put it on the dining table, she had willingly put it there so no one would bother her...

I sighed and then made my way out of the house. I walked back towards school, thinking back about the good days when Blair and I used to take walks around town.

"Here," I handed Nick Blair's phone, feeling kind of weird to give it to Blair's biggest enemy. "You think you can hack this?"

He looked at it, going immediately through her phone. He chuckled. "Very easily." He then looked at me. "I'll get back to you when I'm done." He wanted to leave but I stopped him.

"Please be careful," I then motioned to the phone. "It's a precious item to Blair's family."

He nodded. "Of course."

I sighed but let him go. I saw him walk away while he was busy on the phone, I so hope I did the right thing. Part of me felt like I could use Nick to get closer to Willow but, at the same time, I felt like I was betraying Blair. I then looked up, I was wondering if Blair could see me now. I'm sorry for everything, Blair, I hope you found peace.

After school, I walked to Luke's car. I saw him sitting at the driver's seat but he was just looking outside. He didn't seem to look at anything, he seemed to be deep in thoughts.

I got in the car and then looked at him. "Luke?"

He looked at me.

I showed him a small smile. Something was wrong, he was changing. He was closing up. "Hey," I caressed his arm, trying to comfort him in some way. "Are you ok?"

He shrugged. "What does it matter?"

I sighed. "Why don't we go out tonight?" I asked to which he looked at me. "We could do something fun, just to relax. I think we both need it."

"Maybe," He then started the car. "Yeah," he said while he started driving home. "Let's go out." He looked at me and slowly showed me a smile.

I smiled as well.

And so that evening I took Luke to the cinemas. We watched an action movie together and had the biggest portion of popcorn. We shared it though. Just like the soda.

We had a lot of fun during the movie. It was great. We both loved action movies, and we had similar interests, so it was easy to find one that appealed to both of us.

But what made me smile the most was that he was smiling again. He was back to the old Luke, the good old Luke. Not the one that pushed Blair away, I don't think Luke was himself then. I hope so at least...

Anyway, we had a lot of fun but when the movie ended, he brought me back home. We were driving home when we had to stop at a traffic light.

Luke turned to look at me. "Thank you," He showed me a small smile. "I indeed needed this, to relax with you."

I smiled as well. "I'm here for you," I caressed his arm again. "Always."

He nodded.

Right then my phone buzzed, killing the mood. Though I didn't mind. I checked the caller and noticed it was Nick. Great... "Hello?"

"Rachel? I figured out how to get through to previous contacts."

"So?"

He sighed. "So I found out who she called and texted."

"And the signal?" I noticed Luke eyeing me strangely, so I looked away. "I need that too."

"I know," He paused. "It was a bit tricky, I'll need more time for that. But I can hand you a list with numbers."

I let out a breath. "It's something at least."

"Geez, I feel so appreciated..."

"Thanks, really."

"Mhm... Well see you tomorrow, or do you want me to come over to bring that list?"

I looked away, thinking about it. It's then that I noticed Luke was still eyeing me strangely. I wonder what he must think... "Tomorrow's fine."

"Ok, see you then."

"Yep." And I hung up.

"Who was that?" I could hear he was jealous, or worried.

"No one," I then looked outside. "Don't worry." I added, realizing that my previous answer sounded strange.

We arrived at my house, Luke parked the car in front of it and then just looked away.

"Are you going to be fine?" I was so worried, I didn't like him being alone in that house now. "I can stay over, if you like."

He looked at me. "I'll be fine."

And that surprised me even more. He declined my offer to stay over, something he wouldn't do normally. "Are you sure?"

He nodded.

"Ok," I then took my stuff from the backseat. "Call me whenever you need me, I'll be at your door in minutes."

He nodded again and looked away.

"Ok..." I then got out. "Be careful, and stay safe."

"Yeah," He then started the engine. "See you tomorrow."

"Bye."

I watched him drive away and had this bad feeling. I knew he wasn't going to do the same as Blair, but I knew something was going on. And the fact he was all alone, in that house... I hate it.

I entered my house and walked to my room. I entered and then let myself fall back on my bed. I can't wait to see that list Nick has come up with. I bet one of those numbers has to be Willow's, or someone who portrays like Willow.

But still, Willow was supposed to be an imaginary friend... If not, I don't understand why Tine said that. It'd mean Blair knew Willow wasn't real. But she acted like Willow was real. And now with Luke... Was she real or not?
