Rachel's POV

The next morning, I walked to Luke's house. I needed to make sure he was ok.

Last night, after he drove off, I was worried. And that didn't stop. I didn't like him being alone in that house. I felt like going over and staying with him. Not out of love but genuinely out of worry, I care about him. Even though he did ruin our relationship.

I arrived at his house and noticed an open window. Upon closer inspection, I discovered it was Blair's room. That was odd. Why would that window be open?

I arrived at the front door and rang the doorbell. The door soon opened, revealing Luke. He looked better, in a way. "Hey." He left the door open for me as he walked back into the house.

"Hey," I entered and looked around. "How are you?" I walked to him, to the kitchen.

He shrugged. "Ok, I guess."

I nodded. We sat in silence for a bit until I remembered the odd thing outside. I looked at him. "So the window in Blair's room is open..." I started to which he gulped, something was going on. "Why?"

He looked at me. "Willow."

I raised my eyebrows. "Willow?" I didn't mean it, but it sounded like I didn't believe anything he's saying. "What do you mean?" I corrected myself.

He sighed, burying his face in his hands. "She was here last night," He then stood up straight before looking at me. "She was... Surprisingly supportive." He nodded. "I needed that."

My eyebrows were still raised. I was very surprised to hear this story. "Luke," I walked to him, placing my hand on his shoulder. "Willow's not real."

"Rach," He now mimicked me by placing his hand on my shoulder. "She held my hand, she opened a window... How do you explain that?"

I had to admit, he asked great questions. "Uhm..." I looked away, trying to find an answer to that.

"See." Luke pulled back, seemingly satisfied with my answer. "Come on." He walked out of his house, and to his car.

I sighed as I followed behind him. I entered his car and looked outside, then I noticed the window again. I looked at Luke. "Shouldn't you close that?"

He looked at the window. "No, it's for Willow."

I shook my head, this was crazy. "Luke," I held his hand. "Close that window, what if someone with the wrong intentions gets in?"

He groaned but got out of the car again. He went back into his house. I took this time to think. Luke had changed, he had put his hope on Willow. And what for? She was part of the reason Blair's gone. Why would he trust her?

I saw him closing the window, he'll be here soon enough.

During lunch break, I had arranged to meet up with Nick. We met up in the school's garden, strangely.

"You've got it?"

He nodded before handing the papers to me. "That almost sounded as if you meant something else." He smirked.

"Gross." I then took the papers and looked at them.

"I meant drugs and stuff, nothing else, Rach."

I nodded, not really paying attention to what he was saying. "So these are all the numbers?" I motioned to a list of phone numbers.

"Yeah," He then came closer. "These are all the numbers who contacted her," He motioned to a list. "These are all the numbers she contacted." He motioned to another list.

I nodded. "On which list would we find Willow?"

Nick shrugged. "Probably numbers she contacted, she was desperate for attention."

I punched him.

"Sorry." He rubbed over the spot I had hit him.

"I agree, she's probably on there." I looked at that list. "I still don't understand why Willow's number wasn't in her phone."

"Maybe because Willow isn't her real name?"

I looked at Nick, I got a feeling he knew more. "What do you mean?"

He shrugged. "Just throwing ideas out here."

I eyed him.

"I mean, if I'd have a contact in my phone and I don't want anyone to find it, I'd give it a different name."

I sighed, what he said made sense. "Blair wouldn't do that though."

"But maybe Willow would."

I nodded. But then I thought back about something. "Blair left her phone downstairs when she..." I paused. "She left it there for a reason, I know that for sure."

Nick shrugged. "I didn't know her that well."

I rolled my eyes. Why was I even talking about this with him? "Keep me updated when you find more, ok?" I motioned to the phone.

He nodded before making his way back to wherever he was going.

I then looked at the list of numbers. One of these numbers had to be Willow's, and I was going to find it.

"Rachel?"

I looked up and saw Tina stand there. She was holding her lunch. She waved at me, and then motioned me to come to her, which I did.

"What are you doing here?" she asked as she sat down at a table.

I sat down in front of her. "I just met up with Nick."

She raised her eyebrows. "Thankfully Blair doesn't hear that..."

I nodded.

"Why would you meet up with Nick? Do you two have a thing now?"

"God no!" I had to stop my body from vomiting. Just the thought of dating Nick... It makes me sick. "No, he's helping me with something."

"Something?" She then eyed the papers I was holding. "That?"

I nodded. "We're trying to find Willow."

She sighed. "She's Blair's imaginary friend, I told you that."

"I know," I took the papers away from her, I somehow had a feeling that she might interrupt my search. "But Luke saw Willow too."

She raised her eyebrows. "No way."

I nodded.

"That's impossible though." She seemed to think about it. "Well..." She then got quiet.

But that was something to me. "What is it?"

She shook her head. "It's nothing."

"Come on, tell me."

She put her lunch down and then gave me all her attention. "There was this one time Blair and I met up here," She gulped. "We had a lunch date, all four of us." She smiled a little but it faded immediately. "It all changed when I saw Willow."
