Luke's POV

"So when I saw Rachel with Blair... I knew what I had to do. She had to feel the pain she had caused me."

I looked down.

"I'm not proud of my decision back then," Willow looked down as well. "But when I came back for the first time, I was consumed by anger and in desperate need for revenge. I didn't stop to think about it," She then sighed. "Until it was too late."

I sniffled silently. "When did you realize you went too far?"

Willow sighed. "After the dance," She started, making me look at her. "When I saw what that jerk had done to Blair and, more importantly, when I saw that no one else was helping her or protecting her," She paused. "I had to do something."

"You told her to kill herself," I got up, pacing around. "I don't see how that helped her."

"She was going to die either way, Luke." She looked down. "I tried making it less painful for her."

"You know, you keep saying that. You keep saying her death was inevitable, but are you sure about that?"

"Yes," Willow looked down once more. "I had guided her towards that path long before I fell in love with her, and everyone else just pushed her deeper and deeper. I remember that fateful day, we were planning on running away. But Blair," Willow looked down. "She was tired. She just wanted peace."

Blair's POV

Willow walked to me, caressing my face. "Let's go away, together."

"Where would we go?"

She smiled while caressing my cheeks some more. "Somewhere else. We don't belong here, babe." She took something out of her pocket and gave it to me.

I took it and looked at it. It was our picture, the one after the dance.

"We'll always be together, Blair. No matter what."

I looked up at her. "Promise?"

She nodded. "I promise."

I smiled but it faded immediately. "Wherever we'd go, nothing would change." I went to sit down on my bed. "I'd be far away from my problems here, but I'd be carrying my scars anywhere I go."

Willow sighed. "You don't know that," She knelt in front of me. "I'll be there to make you happy."

I looked her in the eyes and saw she really meant it, but I just couldn't anymore. I looked down, and started crying.

"Hey," Willow pulled me into her. "It's alright, we'll figure this out together."

"I can't do this anymore," I sobbed. "I'm so tired, Willow."

Willow got a hold of my face, she caressed my cheeks while wiping my tears away. "What are you saying?"

I looked down. "I want it to end."

Willow gulped. "What?"

"The pain," I then looked up at her. "Please make the pain go away." More tears streamed down my face. "Please."

Willow gulped once more, it seemed as if she was having a hard time as well. "I'll try to make you happy, we'll go far away from here."

I looked down again. I sniffled and calmed down. "Will you help me?" I looked up at her. "I need your help."
