His Fate (Re-Written)

Ch.

Gray, and Natsu walked down the sidewalk. The April air was warm and brushed against them. "So Gray. No hard feelings." Natsu said. Gray looked at him. "No hard feelings, promise." He replied.

As they walked together, a boy ran into Natsu knocking him over. The two fell onto the ground, meeting eachothers gaze. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you." The boy with blonde hair said, Standing up, then helping Natsu to his feet.

"It's alright, I'm Natsu by the way." Natsu greeted with a signature smile. Gray looked at the new boy, who smiled back at Natsu. "I'm Sting, nice to meet you." The boy named Sting said.

After a few minutes, the boys traded numbers, then Gray and Natsu were on their way. Gray smirked. "He had you falling for him." He said slyly. Natsu blushed. "He did, didn't he. He replied.

Gray held the flowers tightly against his chest. "We need to go get Caramade Franks!" Gray Said before running into the direction of the nearest bakery. Natsu ran behind him.

The two made it to the bakery where they ordered the Caramade Franks, and some cake. "One more stop and then we'll get it set up." Gray said, Natsu nodded. The two walked out of the bakery with their goods, and headed to their last stop.

After shopping the two went back to the garden, and set up a little picnic area. "Natsu can you go get Juvia please?" Gray asked. Natsu nodded, and walked towards the hospital.

A few minutes later, Gray saw Natsu pushing Juvia on her wheel chair. After a couple days of physical therapy, Juvia looked much better, but her legs were still to weak. Anyways, Natsu stopped Juvia's wheelchair, and put it in lock.

Juvia looked at the set up, and smiled. "Thanks guys." She said, Gray and Natsu smiled in reply.

"Well I have to go do something, you guys have fun." Natsu said before walking off. Juvia watched as her brother disappeared, then she turned to Gray. Gray handed her the flowers he and Natsu bought.

"These are my favorite flowers, how'd you know?" Juvia asked.

"Natsu told me about one, and the other two just reminded me of you." Gray said as he pulled out the Caramade Franks. "We also got this" He said.

Juvia's eyes lit up. "My favorite!" She said, as Gray handed her one. Gray watched as she ate it. "Hey Juvia, remember the day we met?"

Juvia nodded, as she had her mouth full. Gray continues to say. "My life changed for the better, before I met you, I didn't know it was possible to love someone this much in so little time, you showed anything's possible. With you I learned how to smile more, I'm happier. But after I learned you were sick, I knew I had to stay with you as much as I could, so you wouldn't slip away from me."

Gray sat in front of Juvia's chair, and took her hands. "I love you, Juvia. I love you more than anything else." Gray said.

"I love you too, Gray" she said as happy tears flow from her eyes. They two shared a sweet kiss.

"The day I met you, this girl came up to me and confessed her feelings, but I couldn't return them, and she told me I would find someone that will change my world." Gray said holding Juvia's hand and bring it to his mouth to kiss.

"Natsu told me I could do this, and he said it wasn't too early." Gray said pulling a small black box out of his back pocket opening it to reveal a diamond ring. "Juvia Dragredlock, will you marry me?" He asked

Juvia covered her mouth, as tears of joy ran down her face again. She began to nod. "Yes." She replied. Gray slid the ring on her finger, and she pulled him into a kiss. "I love you." She said.

"I love you most." Gray replied as he kissed her again. Natsu came walking back, and hugged his sister. "Congrats Sis" He said.

A day later, Gray stood in the Hospital Garden in Juvia's spot, he wore a tux he found in his house. Natsu stood beside him. "I'm glad it's you she's marrying." Natsu whispered. The brides march began, Gray looked up to see Juvia walking towards him, she stumbled a bit, but Gajeel held her up. She was wearing a regular sun dress with her hair curled slightly.

Gray held his hand out to her, she took it in hers. She smiled at him, and he smiled back at her. The two stood in front of the preacher. They began their vows.

"Juvia, you gave me an infinity in just a numbered amount of days, you gave the ability of love. You taught me that no matter what happens, bad or good, you have to stay strong, and you'll find a way. I'll love you, and be here for you, until your last breath, and forever after that. I thought I would have more to say." Gray said wiping his tears away sliding the ring on her finger again.

"Gray, this world may seem to throw hell at me from every which way, but you came into my life, and changed it. I'm happier beside you. I never saw myself as a kid falling in love in less than six months, and getting married. But with you everything is possible. I want to live and be with you. If you have love in your life you must keep living, and now that I'm dying, I want to live more. Thank you Gray." Juvia said wiping her tears away. Natsu was sniffling and hold a tissue to his face.

"By the power vested in me, and in the state of Fiore, I now pronounce you man, and wife. You may kiss the bride." The preacher said, as Juvia and Gray shared a kiss, Gajeel, Levy, and Natsu clapped and cried.
